We saw the Saratoga Inn when we were in Langley celebrating our 20th anniversary. We decided then that we had to come back to stay here. Well, 13 years later, we finally made it back and we're so glad we did! The staff at Saratoga Inn is friendly and accommodating. We realized on our way over from Spokane that we... More

Congratulations with you 33rd anniversary and coming back to Langley ... after 13 years. Gosh, we hope you'll not wait another decade between between visits. If you do, however, the Inn will be celebrating its 33rd year anniversary .... and everything here on the Island will probably be unchanged .... if you return sooner, you get an extra cookie! Thank... More

The location was perfect for relaxing on the lobby front porch or from our private balcony (we had the Carriage house) and watching the ships sail by. We were there for a wedding and didn't have as much sit around time as a typical vacation. The Carriage house room was large with a king-size sleigh bed and pull out couch... More

Thank you for choosing the Saratoga Inn. Wedding visits are always unpredictable as various emotions and expectations are understandably ramped up and your particular weekend stay involved three separate wedding groups at the Inn. We hope you are able to return someday when you can relax and enjoy the simplicities of our small town and the Inn again. Remember there... More

The rooms were so great. Light, bright, charming and very clean. The staff were so great and every afternoon the had snacks and drinks that were really good. The brunch in the morning was very plentiful and all home made. The chef even gave me the recipe for one of the things we loved. Definitely be back.

Thanks SuzKats for giving the Saratoga Inn a try and sharing a review. We are especially pleased you mentioned the staff, who genuinely love providing Island hospitality. One of our housekeepers frequently says, "I love housekeeping" when asked what she likes best about the Inn.... she has been with us over 9 years now and even works at the front... More

Starting with the kind friendly telephone contact, to the welcome when we arrived and on to the beautiful, well appointed , spotless, comfortable room needless to say we were thrilled having an opportunity to stay at the Saratoga Inn. This is a fabulous place to stay on beautiful Whidbey Island. Excellent, convenient location, walking distance to some outstanding restaurants. The inn itself is quiet and clean, with lovely views and very nice rooms. Breakfast was good, the afternoon glass of wine was a special treat. The staff is attentive and responsive, while remaining unobtrusive. Should we ever find ourselves... More

Thank you "Park City" for your appreciation of Whidbey Island and the Saratoga Inn; and we do hope you return someday! We particularly appreciate your mention of "quiet." The room to room quietness is achieved from (4) layers of 5/8" gypboard in a double wall construction along with resilient channels to attenuate sound transmission. All the wallboard joints are staggered.... More

Thankyou, TravelDH, for your stay with us in the Carriage House. While the Carriage House is a special place for romantic couple getaways, it is also a freedom place for families with children, where they can make as much noise as they want and free space to play inside and outside the view deck. As you mentioned the ocean and... More

Truly this is the place to stay. I cannot say enough positive things about the beautiful accommodations, staff, location, views, and food provided at the Saratoga. If you read every review, you will find one negative comment among the many positives. Last weekend, my bridal group descended upon the Saratoga in full force. We had rented the entire inn for... Outstanding! The meals. Susan, the resident chef for over 10 years, could start her own gourmet restaurant. Breakfast rivals any restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Homemade from scratch quiche, pancakes, enchiladas, guacamole, salsa, sweet breakfast tortes, muffins, oatmeal and more. Changes daily. Willingly accommodates gluten free with prior notice by making separate meals. Amazing. Afternoon tea/wine time 4 - 5:... More

Thank you for your thoughtful review. Regarding the children, the Inn has a policy of no children under 12 unless a single group takes the entire Inn for its special occasion. Thank you Tatts15 for your repeat visit and reaffirming review. Both Shawn and Suzy appreciate your applause.
