We spent an extremely comfortable night at Katy’s Inn where the welcome from hosts, John and Joan, was wonderful and the breakfast superb. The inn is just lovely - it combines history and charm with the quality and services that modern travellers need - and is in a super location just a very short walk from the La Conner waterfront. We’d definitely stay again if in this beautiful part of the world. Thanks John and Joan!

This is a fine B&B in a very old house. The hosts are relatively new to the business, but they are excellent with their fine touches. Great location close to town. We especially enjoyed sitting around their outdoor gas fireplace drinking wine. The breakfast was great. While there, I recommend the restaurant called Anelia's.

What a lovely time we had staying with John and Joan at this historical unique home. The room (The Captain's suite) was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed-even it's own porch to relax on! Our hosts were very welcoming and kind and even allowed us to add bringing our dog last minute since we happened to book the dog friendly room. The common areas were a fun gathering place to meet the other guests at the inn and breakfast was a delicious and fun event! We immediately felt at ease and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Joan and John! Hopefully we can return and stay longer next time.

Exploring the Skagit Valley region and learning some history was reason to stop at La Conner. We no trouble finding a convenient B&B two blocks from waterfront Updated boardwalk and new art shops are located along the 4-block waterfront. This B&B has updated plumbing neat and clean bedrooms. If you are “step challenged” remember this refurbished home retains its historic old charm and design. Managers John and Joan provide comfortable accommodates at competitive prices plus easy walking to the waterfront. Many Restuarant’s nearby. Coffee, tea and wonderful breakfast is provided at 9:00 am. Try it you will like the relaxed pace.

My husband and I stayed one night, mid-week, for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Very special was the handwritten note in notecard in the foyer, welcoming us and offering self-serve tea, coffee and cookies. We rented the spacious Captain's Suite on the first floor and loved the private entrance onto the garden. As birders, we were able to watch our avian neighbors from the covered porch, even on a drizzly afternoon. We heard almost no traffic noise overnight or early morning. Though the Captain's Suite is near the kitchen, our hosts made every effort to keep it as quiet as possible. Breakfast was at a time of our convenience, with a delicious variety of locally sourced eggs, fruits, vegetables and breads. Our hosts were relaxing, and fun to speak with. Another perk: just a short walk to the wonderful Oyster and Thistle restaurant, as well as the "downtown" area. We will return!
