Clean, quiet and a few blocks from "The Strip" that is La Conner. Breakfast was adequate. The rooms are up a steep set of stairs, for those of limited mobility, this may be a concern. Staff volunteers to carry bags though. Limited breakfast hours.
Friendly Inn, clean and quiet room in a lovely old Victorian. Breakfast was tasty and generous, I chose to eat in my room one morning and at one of the many outdoor spaces available at the Inn another morning as this is just my preference. The common areas are comfortable and a microwave, ice, tea, coffee and more are available to guests. Comfy bed with high quality linens, an AC unit that worked effectively and thoughtful details like bath salts for the jacuzzi tub made for a relaxing couple of days away to do some long term work planning. I indulged in a massage which was awesome. There seemed to be some drama between spa staff, but that was just a random occurrence that quickly ended when I came around the corner. It’s located in a perfect spot in LaConner, within easy walking distance to all the town has to offer. Thinking next time maybe I’ll let my husband come with me!…
One of those places you just feel comfortable as you step through the door. Clean and Cozy. We were "on the go" in LaConnor, so the start of the day with a great breakfast (thank you Olin) and then returning to our room at the end of the days travels, were something we looked forward to.
Wonderful quick getaway to visit the blooming tulip fields around La Connor. Heron Inn has a lovely attentive staff with comfortable rooms and great breakfast. The day spa is in-house where we had a fantastic massage and a late check out so as to not be rushed.
We stayed at this lovely friendly small hotel while visiting for the tulip festival. The king bedroom was clean and bed super comfortable. Buffet style breakfast with delicious freshly made fruit pancakes. We both had deep tissue massages very relaxing in the couples room.
This was the last place my wife & I went last summer (Aug) before she passed away. She wasn't able to go on & long trip so thought we would find something close. It was so nice & the weather was perfect. How about the giant Jacuzzi Bath on the 3rd floor ? Super. She had a massage & said she hadn't felt that good in so long. It was one of the best she had done. We were going to come back but alas ... wasn't meant to be. Thanks though for your great place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Heron Inn & Day Spa! Owner, Alvin, is a delightful host who cared about our particular needs such as where to safely park our bicycles. He also entertained us with his stories. We loved the hot tub after a long day of bike riding on the nearby Cascade Trail. The Heron Inn is ideally situated to walk to shops and restaurants. We hope to return again for another stay.
We enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Our room was clean and quiet . Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff , homemade breakfast - all in all - a perfect little getaway. Regarding some comments I've read in other reviews: We stayed on the 3rd floor. The stairs are not narrow at all and we had no problem getting up there or going down. Breakfast was great. Many different options to choose from. Love the fact you can make your own tea or coffee 24/7
This is such an exceptional Inn. The Suite was spacious and cozy, with many amenities. The park-like setting is very relaxing and enjoyable. Their staff are gracious. The Breakast is beyond-the-beyond. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Best wishes always…
WONDERFUL hotel! We started our honeymoon there and were so welcomed. There were flowers in our room upon arrival. Alvin helped us take our luggage upstairs and recommended restaurants. The spa service was well priced and the massages just so relaxing. All staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious, What a cute town! :)
