Fantastic Home! Great story behind the property! Extreme Makeover built this state of the art home in 7 days! I am shocked this place isn't booked year round! Quite, clean and relaxing. Roseanne Dore is a wonderful host.

If you watched season 2 of Extreme Makeover you saw this home/Inn go up after a fire in only 7 days, about 10 years ago. Well; the Innkeeper/owner is an amazing story. The Inn is spotless, comfortable and accommodating. If you are at all concerned about getting a good breakfast; well, forget-about-it cause the two we have were all but gourmet. Hot coffee, juices, fresh local fruit are preludes to cheese and spinach soufflés, thick bacon and home fries our day #1 and day #2 the main course was sausage bisques and gravy - deliciousness. The owner has a lot of local history to share and a book with pictures of the makeover. Stay and enjoy, it surprises me there are not hundreds of favorable reviews here on TripAdvisor.

The owner and operator does not advertise this business enough.....Anyone looking to book a bed and breakfast must just call Roseanne and book a stay here. The place is amazing and sits on a nice piece of manicured property. Extreme Homes built the place back in the mid 2000s and the quality of craftsmanship is top notch. There is nothing comparable to The Phoenix, so check it out!!! There is some room for negotiation on nightly rates, so keep that in mind.

Our stay at the phoneix was great from beginning to end. Very beautiful home, clean, comfortable rooms, and great food. Our host was very kind and welcoming. If you're in the area this is a great place to stay for the same price as a run of the mill hotel but has so much more to offer. Thanks again Roseanne!
