Here at Blue Moose Lodging you’ll enjoy so much more than just a room. We are located in beautiful Panorama Country along Highway 395 North, about 5 miles North of Kettle Falls, Washington. Blue Moose Lodging is situated on just over 3 acres of natural Ponderosa forest land where you’ll enjoy the wildlife that frequently visits, hiking trails, beautiful lake views and Nancy Creek as it flows through the property year-round. While we do not front on the water, you can see Lake Roosevelt (the Columbia River) from Blue Moose Lodging. We do have access rights to the lake and boat mooring, but no dock. It’s an easy five minute walk to the lakeshore and boat mooring. Nancy Creek Cove has a waterfall, secluded beaches and a beautiful area for swimming and fishing. It is 4 miles to the boat launch from here, and about the same distance to fish the Kettle River. We have four Cabins available for rent nightly, weekly and occasionally longer-term. Our cabins are quite private, set back several hundred feet from Highway 395. They are quite modern (not rustic) and have a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, cookware, double burner cook-top, toaster, etc….3/4 bath equipped with a shower, sink & toilet. All Cabins have a TV, VCR and/or DVD player, Directv and FREE WiFI access. The sleeping arrangements are as follows: Cabin #1 is equipped with a queen bed plus a full size bed and will accommodate up to 4 people. Cabin #2 is equipped with a queen size bed plus two twin beds and will accommodate up to 4 people. Cabin #3 is equipped with a queen bed plus two twin beds and will accommodate up to 4 people. Cabin #4 is equipped with a full bed plus a full-size futon and will accommodate up to 4 people.

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 days and had the most wonderful time. The cabins are really clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The cabin had a sweet front porch and the wildlife around the area was amazing. You can walk across to the lake in 2 minutes and there are a ton of hiking trails behind the cabin. The new owners are amazingly helpful and kind, if you want to stay in a cabin in the woods surrounded by nature this is perfect!

New owners, remodeled, clean, quiet, fully stocked kitchen!
It's the off-season, so the cost was $50 a night per cabin...cabins have TWO full size beds, easily sleeps 4 adults or a family.
Fill your cooler or buy supplies in Kettle Falls. Fridge, microwave, 2 burner hotplate, fry skillet, pots/pans, all the dishes/cutlery, and a small dining table. A cheap way to spend a few days.
The bathroom has a large shower.
There is a swimming beach, kid's playground, and fishing just 5min away.
Wonderful place, even at $60 during the summer!!!

At $65.00 per night the cabins at The Blue Moose were a good value, but may have been more suited to hunter/fishermen types than a couple on a belated honeymoon. The cabin that we stayed in, appeared clean but had a slightly offensive odor that my wife and I could never quite place. The furnishings were dated - heck the TV had a rotary tuner. Check-in was at the owners house and they were very gracious. The appliances worked and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was good although hot water was scarce. For an inexpensive stopover, the Blue Moose was acceptable. As a vacation destination it left something to be desired.

New owners have cleaned it up so much and were so nice. I refer all my friends to come here. Lots of wild life, private lake access. They made it very comfortable. The rate is low, the cabins are spotless... Its a nice get away and I will most definitely be back.

We reserved the entire campground/cabins for a family reunion last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cabins were neat and clean with all the amenities needed (except only 2-burner stove). Our families tented or came in camp trailers and seemed to enjoy their stay also. Large community room was used for buffet-style meals and everyone enjoyed their stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Blue Moose offers the basics for a great get-away. Beautiful scenery and comfortable surroundings.
These are cabins with the basic amenities. Don't expect luxury. It was perfect for 4 friends to spend the night and BBQ. Not far from kettle Fall, Wa either.
