An extremely well run park managed by a very talented couple. Denise and Gordon appear to be tireless workers... ALWAYS available to help with any customer need. We found the park grounds, the office, and all site buildings to be spotless and very well cared for. This park is peaceful and quiet and ideally located for those considering day trips to the Pacific coast or Olympic National Park. We highly recommend this park as a wonderful place to stay!
What a lovely camping experience nestled near the Hoquim River. This location enjoys site management by Denise, her friendly welcome and desire to ensure a positive stay only enhance your visit. Fortunately for me, Gordon and Elijah round out this tremendous team. My water heater broke down on my second day here. It turns out that Gordon is a Master Technical expert with countless years of experience fixing RV’s. He and Elijah expertly diagnosed the problems and went on to repair my unit. Had I been anywhere else I would have waited weeks if not months for an appointment to make these repairs. Gordon and Elijah knocked it out in under 2 hours. I am deeply indebted to the team here at Hoquim River RV Resort. Needless to say, I’ll be back when my plans include this area.
We loved staying here! This is a well-maintained site, with gravel sites divided by grass strips. Situated on the Little Hoquiam River, there are seating areas and a woodland trail along the river bank, with forested hills behind. The location provides easy access to Hoquiam and Aberdeen, as well as local places of interest and the beaches. If we return to this area, we would stay at this site again.
We love this RV park! We are right on the river with it’s beautiful views and critters. Yesterday, we spotted 6 otters while walking on the adjacent river walk trails! Lots of birds, including bald eagles and deer, as well. Denise and Gordon have been nothing but welcoming with fresh, homemade cookies at the office! We’ve been full time RVers for 3 years now, and this park is definitely in our top 5 favorites. Thanks for being here and making our stay so perfect! The Oberstallers
I was driving down the HYW 101 and needed a place to stay. I found this on Allstays.com as a place that allows tent camping. What a GREAT FIND. I was right on the river bank, on a grassy field! Free showers and fire wood, internet and coin laundry. It was so nice that I stayed for 3 days, I would have stayed longer but I had an appt. I had to be to. Nice wooded trail system to walk dogs, wild black berry bushes the entire distance. The people in the were very friendly and helpful and nice to deal with.
The area is super green and beautiful. The RV park itself is clean, quiet and peaceful. The number one reason I am writing this review is because of the park manager. She was so sweet and mad me feel at home. I would definitely recommend staying here!
We visited mid-June and they were closing up for the night (about 5pm). Guess their season wasn't in full swing yet. They did, however accommodate us and our RV with smiles. Very nice people. Very nice campground.
This is a very nice family park. The staff are very friendly and have fresh banana bread for the new guests. The show you to your site and help you with the placement if you need it. Really nice place.
Denise and Gordon are the perfect hosts of this delightful RV Resort. We were made to feel welcome immediately.. the site was roomy, clean and comfy. Gordon escorted us to the site, suggested the best position for our 40' fifth wheel and even offered to help set up! What a delightful introduction to a lovely RV park. Even the residents welcomed us and invited my husband fishing the next day! This park is in a beautiful location, but the grounds and amenities are so well maintained that I assumed Denise are Gordon were owners. They are managers of the highest caliber and their attention to detail is apparent in the overall ambiance of the resort. I cannot express my respect and appreciation enough for them.
We arrived after 7pm without a reservation and expected there would not be a "real" person to deal with but were pleasantly surprised to be find the office open and to be greeted with homemade cookies and be escorted to our site. It is well positioned on the Olympic Peninsula circuit and located along the river with benches and flower pots. Sites and other facilities are well maintained. Even wifi was more than adequate.
