We have stayed at Guest house cottages twice yearly over the past few years and every time is romantic and beautiful. The property is so natural, lush and inhabited by deer, and ducks in the pond. I always feel like I am in an enchanted forest and back in time. Still we are close enough to ocean and dining. We loved...

My wife and I have been staying at Guest House Log Cottages since 1990. We started out with one annual visit, but we have been going twice or more a year for the past few years. Every time, we come away relaxed and recharged. We very much enjoy the idyllic countryside during long walks, and short drives and the unique...

We have visited B&Bs all over the country and decided this is our favorite. Not the staying-in-someone's-spare-bedroom type (which we don't like), this is more like a small inn, cottages on acres of forest property, a small lake and privacy. They also provide a self serve breakfast supplies in each of their cottages. We stayed in the Tennessee Log Cottage,...

We love Guest House Cottages and return each year. We have stayed in several of the cottages over the years. My favorite is the Lodge, The Log Cabin and the Kentucky Pine Cottage. I love coming in Sept when the island goes a little bit slower at island pace and not as many tourists in line at the ferries etc....

1st time ever exploring the Pudget Sound and couldn't asked for a more picture perfect place to stay at then this location. The grounds themselves are immaculate. Stayed at the Log Cabin, HIGHLY recommendable. Guest House Log Cottages is centrally located on Whidbey Isl. near gas, markets and small charming towns. Just a short drive away from the lighthouse, ferries...

I have put off writing this review for three weeks because I find it so difficult. It is the single most mixed-bag review I've ever had to create. There is so much to LOVE about this place that it's hard to be honest about the drawbacks, but I feel that's only fair to the visitor and I wish WE had...

My husband surprised me with a visit to Whidbey Island and a stay at this wonderful B&B. It was absolutely perfect for me. The log cabin was neat, clean and so comfortable I could have lived there. Living room, kitchen, and a bedroom with a fabulous deck looking on the pond full of ducks. We didn't want a typical hotel...

This was the perfect place for our honeymoon! It was private and cozy, pushed back into the forest, it was so full and lush with greenery. The owners were beyond hospitable! It's a nice central location to so many places around the island. We will definitely be back! There is no wifi in the rooms, and we both really appreciated...

Wonderful chocolate box log cabin cottage on the edge of a small pond with two resident ducks. Next cottage was some 100ft away so complete solitude. Very 1960's decor log cabin. Bed you just floated away in, mind you the dead spiders dropping from the rafters took a little getting used to. Facilities all dated but functioning perfectly well, shopping...

We visited Whidbey Island and tried to reserve several places before we left home, only to find they were all full. We finally found this place and reserved "The Log Cabin". We weren't expecting too much, but grabbed it. OH MY GOODNESS!! This first night in Washington State just started our trip off right. Our little log cabin was really...
