We had a fabulous time at the Cozy Rose Inn. The owners are friendly and accommodating. I'm so happy that we chose the Suite Surrender Suite - even though it is in the main house it was completely private. I chose it because the jacuzzi was the largest offered, and it was delightful. We had a private table in their beautiful garden and enjoyed dinner there one evening. The grounds are beautiful, and it was a treat to feed their horses and see the three week old colt.
In addition, we felt that this B & B was a great value. How often do you get a delicious breakfast delivered to your room? With flowers and candles?
Our only complaint? That we couldn't stay longer!

If you want a one of a kind bed and breakfast experience then the Cozy rose Inn is where its at!! Marc and Jennie are incredible hosts and provide a unique B&B experience. My husband and I have stayed her many times throughout the last decade or so and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed, the food is delicious and plentiful, the service is top notch. Most of all the owners are wonderful and fun to be around. We will back as usual soon!!

The secret garden room is lovely and was VERY clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. My fiancé, who usually declines breakfast ate every bite of his own, and some of mine, as well.

However, a big problem, was the temperature of the shower water. Owner, Mark, told us, at check-in that the handle turns with difficulty. After being scalded, I managed to adjust the temp to tolerable for three minutes. I would have asked to change rooms, but being freshly unpacked, and road weary, my fiancé said “no, let’s stay put.” I opted for the bath for the next two days, while he managed three minute showers, before water was too hot for tolerance.

We would have preferred not to have breakfast in our room. The weather was chilly, and we felt cooped up. Part of the fun of B&B is meeting other travelers. While some might like room service, I like going to a nice clean dining room, and being able to ask for seconds of juice, etc., and not having to get up and make more coffee with a Keurig.

When we left, my fiancé informed owner, Mark, the water temp needs immediate attention, to which he responded “The plumber died.” I draw the conclusion that Mark knew the water was uncomfortably hot, and really should have offered us a different room.

So many pluses to our stay here, particularly the luxury of the bed, but enough other issues, that it balances to a three.

Im Sorry, I should have spent more time showing the Steam shower to these two. Its a complicated shower with muliti colored lights , radio, steam & Shower.. Most folks really love it but I think it was too many dials & buttons for these two. Anyway .. Keep traveling PS They never mentioned they wanted to eat in diningroom. Most guests love the private delivered breakfast to ea suite.

The Cozy Rose was a pleasant surprise. I've been to B&Bs that felt dated or past their prime, but this one is maintained beautifully. The bed was comfortable plus the shower and separate tub for 2 were huge. Overall the room was very spacious. All the food was fantastic. I don't usually eat breakfast when I first wake up, but I had to make myself do it here. Each day was different and wonderful. The table in the bedroom was perfect size for our morning meal. I also loved how close we were to wine tastings. I'll be coming back every chance I get.

I can’t say enough about how much I love this Bed and Breakfast. All the rooms are wonderful and private. The breakfast is phenomenal and the atmosphere very relaxing. My husband and I have been several times and have never been disappointed. The owners, Mark and Jenny, are very warm and accommodating. This is an awesome and romantic getaway in wine country for a couple looking for a quite relaxing time.

Owner opened all windows in my room while gone at business event because of the "chemicals and fragrance" I used in my room. (a small amount of perfume and shower gel with fragrance... i even sprayed what little hairspray I use outside because of the "no fragrance" sign in the bathroom). She then proceeded to say that "chemicals cause her longs to not function and she will die". I requested a fan so I wouldn't be so warm, especially after windows open all day in unseasonably warm weather. I was told that the air conditioner is broke and that I must keep windows open anyway to elleviate the "chemicals" from my room. I explained I wasn't comfortable sleeping in a room by myself on the first floor with all of the windows open, in the middle of nowhere, and the owner said I "must" leave them open all night and that she "promised it is safe". In addition, the "free internet" was not working the entire stay. Many reviews talk about this fabulous breakfast they serve, but there was no breakfast during my stay. Some granola was poured into a bowl with saran wrap on the top, sitting on my night table, and a half of a brown banana and old strawberries were in a bowl with saran wrap in the fridge. After the owner literally freaked out at my "chemical contamination" from 9 hours prior, I then packed my belongings and proceeded to office to check out.The owner's husband said that his wife had "a stroke" and that they have never had a single guest have an issue with the "no chemical" policy. I reminded him that the lotion, shampoo, and soap toiletries that they provided in the room say "parfum" on them so I didn't think shower gel or a squirt of my mild perfume would be such a big deal. I left scratching my head.... why would someone so deathly ill of anything inorganic run a hotel where strangers are sleeping, bathing, and getting ready for their day? If you're looking to "camp" in wine country... this is a great place. Otherwise, if you like to use body lotion, hair spray, or scented deoderant.... you might want to rough it at the Best Western or another low-end hotel. The rooms might not look as fancy, but at least you wont be killing anyone with your chemical poison, and you can have internet access, air conditioning and a warm breakfast for half of the price.... and walk to all of the Prosser vineyards.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in June 2006. We stayed in the room at the top of the stairs, which is very private and quiet, with elegant decorating, not overdone. I believe the other rooms are on the first floor but check the website to make sure.

The romantic 2 person Jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after the long drive. The shower is large and can use another shower head to make it a 2 person shower. The inn is in a very quiet location in the Yakima Valley, off the main highway; and has a beautiful view of a vineyard.

The innkeepers, Mark and Jennie, request that you take your shoes off before going upstairs and entering your room (this is also noted on their website). This wasn't a big deal to us as we always remove our shoes at the door. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place, don't let the removal of your shoes be an issue.

Mark and Jennie served us wonderful breakfast the next morning. They are very friendly and like to converse with their guests.

We arrived about the dinner hour and asked about places to eat. Mark recommended the Blue Goose Restaurant in Prosser, WA which is about 10 minutes from the inn. The outside of the restaurant isn't much to look at and you can miss it if not paying attention. Once inside, the restaurant has a casual, sort of intimate setting, not more than 10 tables. The nice thing about this restaurant is the wait staff doesn't rush their guests, the service is great, and the food is wonderful.

We stayed here for 3 nights based on the incredible reviews on TripAdvisor. The B&B was nice, but there were some things that were either strange or missing from a top-notch B&B. On the positive side, the B&B is on a very pretty piece of land, the owners are nice, and the shower in the Secret Garden room is amazing. I know that sounds weird, but it has music, steam, jets, etc - very cool! On the other hand, this is the only B&B I can remember that charges $7 for a pot of coffee with breakfast. They do have a single cup coffee maker in the room, but you must pay for "premium" coffee. Also, breakfast is a single serving with no seconds offered. Also, any substitutions to breakfast cost $10. In addition, the owners do not let guests have access to any part of the main house. In other words, we had a nice room (which has a separate outside entrance) but were not given a key to get into the house (i.e.-to sit in the family room or any other room). Oh and by the way, they do not allow any perfumes or allow shoes in most rooms.

Thank you for the opportunity to help future guests understand our Inn on a deeper level. We advertise on the center of our web site "The Perfect place for Pampering & Privacy" & generally that's who come here. In the first 2 years of our 22 yrs we asked the guests would you like to come to dining room or have breakfasts delivered to your private deck. 99% said delivered? 100% of the women said delivered. So we give the guest what they wanted. All B&Bs are different & that's what makes it unique way to travel. COFFEE: Starbucks VIA & Teas are always provided at no charge, but being a 5 Star Inn we offer premium other coffee options ..cappuccinos..Lg organic fresh ground pot of coffee delivered to your deck 1/2 hr.earlier that breakfast served with flowers & candle. PERFUMES: You would have to own an Inn or winery to understand & appreciate the problems with perfumes . Go to winetastingediquitecom ..this will help all to have a better understanding the perfume thing . In short it is for love of neighbor . DINING ROOM : It is open & guests traveling together eat in there all the time & have endless coffee FOOD OPTIONS ; If you have allergies or gluten free or whatever its no problem well do it. Being a small inn we just cannot make 12 different breakfasts ea. morning . I'm sorry , Please forgive me , Thank you & we love our guests & future guest.

We booked the "Irish House" at the Cozy Rose Inn for a one night stay because it advertised check-in from 3pm-6pm, Full Breakfast, dinner, and a hot tub. Two days before our arrival (well within the 2 week cancellation policy and no option to cancel and stay elsewhere), we received a phone call asking us not to check in until after 6pm, dinner would not be available, and the hot tub was not available because it was too hot and really "only an outdoor bathtub". Upon arrival we were informed that the full breakfast is Belgian waffles, and a glass of juice, and no coffee because we could make it ourselves in the coffee maker, we could only eat breakfast at the communal dining table if we refrained from wearing any scents or colognes (which we were not allowed to use in the accommodations either). The promised WiFi was not available either. We were going to enjoy a glass of wine, but the three wine glasses provided were filthy….full of fingerprints of the hundreds of guests who had picked them up and then put them back down again. We washed all the dishes we needed before using them, and then canceled breakfast. The one positive note: We had an excellent dinner at Wine O Clock recommended by our host, and we only had to stay one night!
