We wanted a place at the last minute near Rialto Beach and Manitou Lodge turned out to be perfect. The grounds are serene and in perfect harmony with the Olympic Peninsula rain forest. The main room of the lodge is a comfortable place to enjoy a complimentary hot beverage while you play one of the games they have to lend,... More

We had a very nice stay at the Maintou Lodge. It is in the middle of a beautiful forest, and the lodge was very cozy. The breakfast in a basket was good, with plenty of food, and it was nice to eat breakfast in our room. The room was comfortable and quiet.

I'm not sure I've ever written a trip advisor review but this property deserves it. I wrote this review for Yelp. Over the years, I've gotten more stingy with my 5 star ratings but I have almost nothing negative to say about ML. I booked online a few days ahead of time (on Wednesday for a Saturday night). The pictures... More

It was a nice quiet night in an off the beaten path place. The only downside I would say is that the guy running the place was drunk when we checked in at 6pm, not buzzed but 1 eye closed to use the credit card machine drunk. I thought that was a little unprofessional. The breakfast is premade which others... More

We thank the reviewer for his/her very kind review despite an apparent discordant note, and apologize for any inappropriate behavior. Among other positive characteristics, resident management here is known for helpfulness, friendly demeanor, and attentiveness, as attested to by a substantial number of past Tripadvisor reviews. Unprofessional behavior of any kind is essentially unknown, and this potential instance will be... More

This Lodge was much more than we expected. My mother and I only stayed one night but can't wait to go back. Very quaint and cozy. The manager was extremely nice and helpful. It's in a rainforest setting and was quiet and peaceful. Our breakfast was in the mini fridge and was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for... More

Having read the reviews before booking, we were aware of the Lodge's rusticity and knew that breakfast would be in the fridge. Honestly, I'd imagined something even more rustic and had dreaded the breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was OK. The inn keepers were friendly and accommodating and I'd have to say, to stay in... More

We stayed in one of the Outback cabins. Just big enough for the bed and a couple of chairs. We liked very much. The lodge was warm and welcoming. The manager is very nice and wants to please. The breakfast in a basket was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you don't expect anything real fancy.

Great lodge in quiet forest setting with creative and eclectic yard and decos. We arrived after 6pm and had to check ourselves in - but with lots of very good instructions left at the desk under our name. After dropping our gear at Outback Too cabin - we toured the grounds - we were sorry we hadn't allowed more time... More
