Unexpected find in peaceful rainforest setting with charming yet sophisticated ambience where you can escape the “madding crowd”! Eclectic decor surrounds you in the two story great room with a towering stone fireplace. Sip a glass of vino and kick back with your favorite book or person snuggled up on the many couches with a blanket over your knees. Listen to the multiple birds chirping in spring or the rain pounding on the roof in winter! So cozy!! Choose from lodge rooms with full bathrooms all the way down to “instant camping”, where you never have to erect a tent in the rain, because we do it for you! Or stay in one of our “Outback” cabins for economy and total privacy.

This was our first stay but hopefully won't be our last. We stayed two days and wished we could of stayed 20. The property sits in a very private setting "off the beaten path" but not inaccessible. Check in was a snap and it really has the feel of staying at a family members vacation house. We stayed in the "EAGLE" cabin and it was just right for a couple. We spent some time one evening with other family members who had joined us at the lodge renting out the "Owl" cabin in the main lodge and it was outstanding. Very homey, attentive service without being intrusive.

Getaway in the forests of the OP. So quiet and wonderful. Grounds and rooms were clean. Breakfast basket and coffee was awesome. Very close to wonderful beach. Very accommodating to our dog, really liked the off-leash rule. We will be back. Thank you.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay there at the lodge. The snow was beautiful there. And the heated outdoor showers unbelievable. We will stay there again if we ever get back out to the rain forest.

We were shocked by the accommodations. A tiny cabin with a full size bed, sink and space heater. All for $100 a night! No toilet or shower! However, you could walk to the lodge if you had to go to the toilet. It was October and cold. Could not stay there. Also no refund even though the manager said that she was turning people away. The worst!

This hotel was memorable as it was the strangest hotel experience I have ever had. I never saw another person the entire time I was there. No one working the front desk, no cars in the parking lot, no one. I arrived at 3 pm to find instructions on a bulletin board with how to get inside. Then I came back just after sunset and still didn’t see anyone. Woke up the next morning to the phone ringing in the lobby, which was not picked up because no one was there. Got showered, dressed and left my key in the room where I had found it. So incredibly strange. No one was even working the gift shop, which had several native art items I wanted to buy. I would say that this place does privacy well but unfortunately it’s better described as absent.
