The campground is perfectly located amongst many of the Olympic National Forests best beaches. Forks is a mere 45 minutes away. So many little places to visit. The Old Cedar Tree is awesome in the middle of nowhere! Can you say Twilight? You can totally tell you were standing in areas the film was shot! Totally beautiful Country! The only... More

We stopped here on our way up the Olympic rain forest. We were amazed at how beautiful this park was. Along the WA coast. You get easy access to the Beach and can walk for miles and miles (especially on low tide). Expect to get rain and mist. It's part of the experience!

We reserved this campground well in advance, which turned out to be a blessing as it is apparently very popular. The campground is well-kept. The sites are kind of small - it was obviously developed for tent campers. We stayed in a 23 ft. travel trailer, and we were barely able to fit it in the cliffside site. I saw... More

Best view Iv ever seen. The campground is large and usually full in the summer but it's never to crowded. Rain forest spots and open tree lined sites to choose from. Beach acess leads you to hours of views, sunsets and walks.

We like to visit this campground in early to mid June, before the summer crowds hit. We were worried about the weather prediction, which was rain, rain, rain. But, we lucked out and it really only rained one night. The days were mostly clear and sunny. Beautiful! We had reservations, but saw several campsites we would have liked to be... More

In Oregon you cannot make reservations the day of, and because our trip was not scripted we never knew if a site would be available. There were only a few sites left although it was early afternoon and before Memorial Day. Our site was level, but not overlooking the beach. However it was a very brief walk to the beach.... More

Went to the campground together with friends a couple days ago. Did not do reservations, but found awesome spot place to stay right there. It was really quiet and so beautiful around. And of course it was really amazing to get right to the pacific coast, which is so close from the campground. Coast is really clean, what can't make... More

We went in early spring and it was still a bit chilly, but warm enough to tent camp. We were unable to make reservations since it was off season, however there were plenty of campsites to choose from when we arrived in the early afternoon. All of the sites that faced the water had been taken, but that was to... More

Stayed here for two nights in March. Although it was POURING rain both nights, the campsite is beautiful--right on the bluffs above the shore. Most of the sites that overlook the beach are either occupied by RVs or are rather small and unshielded from the wind, but still beautiful. I imagine in We picked site F7, which we loved because... We lucked out with perfect weather in this rainy place. We snagged a campsite in the D loop (18 I think?) that overlooked the ocean from a cliff. The campsites in the strip between the roads is surrounded by trees but not enough to block the sound of cars speeding by, so I'd recommend you find another spot. We enjoyed... More
