This is a great stop, camping in the twilight trees. Everything you need Is onsite including firewood, smoked salmon, mercantile, small and simple restaurant, bathrooms Sasquatch possibilities and a no vampire zone. Lovely location to go to La Push, Mora, Forks and anything south on the coast. Great management and fellow campers.
Great campground for car camping. Dog friendly. Gas and convenience store right there. A few mile drive to coast. Fire pits and picnic tables. Near road but minimal traffic. Would stay again. Lots of moss on trees.
5 of us stayed in the cabin attached to the restaurant/convenience store, so aesthetically it didn't really look like a cabin. But the place made it feel like it because it was so quiet and peaceful. Cabin was very clean, the bedsheets smelled especially great. Only thing of concern were the mattresses being old and dipped significantly when you got in bed. Despite that, I still got a good rest and our group had a fun time assembling one of their puzzles that they had available to play with in the living room.
Beautiful little spot between Forks and La Push, just minutes from Rialto Beach. Staff are very friendly. Would have given 5 stars except the bed was too firm and the cabins could have better soundproofing to reduce road noise. Otherwise, we loved it!
I stayed here about 5 years ago on another occasion when business brought me to the northwest, so I tried it again. I was not disappointed. The amenities, location, and price give Three Rivers five stars. My cabin was very clean, warm, the kitchen area had a fridge, stove, wave, and coffee maker. A small amount of coffee was supplied as were plates, utensils, and pots. The bathroom was supplied more minimally, i.e., good supply of towels but tiny bars of hotel soap and no shampoo. I always travel with shampoo, so no biggie. The resort has a small store (with higher, off the beaten path prices) and restaurant. I didn't eat there, however, I carried my own food. The wifi worked great in cabin 1. AT&T cell service didn't work at all. I was able to call home with Google hangouts for free-my first time using it. If you're up for a bit of up and down hiking with a lot of stairs, Second Beach is amazing!…
