We had our parents with us and decided to get a 2 bedroom at the Seawards house. The unit had 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a main living area with fireplace, table, couch and chairs and a mini fridge, coffee machine and microwave. The rooms were overall clean, but some maintenance could be done to rusty door handles, green rusted shower head and all the dead flies that were "sitting" in the window frames. The dead flies could easily be vacuumed up, so no one seems to clean the windows often. The window in the second bedroom was also not working, so no fresh air for that room. They do provide a bundle of firewood per day, so that was super fun for all to have a roaring fire in the fireplace on a cold evening. You can buy more wood at the lodge, to get more fire time in. The lodge itself offers a nice breakfast, either from the menu or the buffet and my older parents loved the senior discount on the breakfast. We also had dinner twice in the lodge and we had great food both nights. The cabins also looked soo much fun and had the better location overlooking the ocean. We did have a peekaboo ocean view, so that was still very nice. …

Beautiful spot at Olympic National Park, right at the ocean. However, for the high price you pay, you would expect WiFi in the room and a modern bathroom. Bathroom is very basic and there is no WiFi in the room or park, only at the reception you have free WiFi.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting ONP! So glad we did as everything was that much closer! The cabins were clean!! We had a “full kitchen” type. The fridge was only a mini fridge though. But very doable to cook breakfast and dinner each day. The cabins are nestled right on the cliff that overlooks the beach with a stair access down to the beach. So amazing and again so worth staying here to cut out hours of driving!!

We have gone here for over a decade and have always really enjoyed the resort as a family. The beach is pretty secluded and not very crowded. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. Their store is stocked with necessities. The only thing I can't really speak to is the restaurant. We always bring our own food and we haven't had a reason to check it out yet. It looks really nice and always smells really good! We typically stay in the cabins and they are always clean and comfortable. The resort is also very pet friendly and walk friendly. Lots of trails and areas to check out within the resort and just outside of it. If you get in your car there are even more within a short drive.

We stopped in the Seacrest suite, which had its own balcony which had fantastic reviews. Room was clean & spacious, old fashioned interior which has the lodge feel. Great location to beach & other local attractions. Shop & restaurant handy too. Nice, relaxing stay, would recommend.

Comfy cabin…could open windows and hear the ocean and warmed up the night chill with a fire. Lovely! Beds were great with just enough blankets to keep us cozy but not too hot. All kitchen appliances worked well. Dining room was gross but not gourmet. A little expensive, but (too) large portions.

Loved our cabin at Kalaloch Lodge - cozy, comfortable and could see and hear the ocean from our room. Great staff at both check-in and the restaurant. The beach is amazing and even though it was summer, there was barely anyone on it. Breathtaking setting and I will definitely be going back!

We visited Kalaloch Lodge every Spring break during my childhood. I have amazing memories and it was one of my mom’s favorite places. After losing my mom five years ago it’s been hard to visit but i decided this year I would take my girlfriends and show them how amazing it was. We rented a bluff cabin for the four of us for two nights. The views here are unbelievable and we had wonderful weather with gorgeous sunsets. I think the downfall for me was when we opened the door to the cabin in immediately smelled of cleaner and dog urine. We could not sit in one of the chairs because it was obvious that a dog had urinated on the wooden leg as it smelled awful and you cannot get that out of wood. I was shocked that the cabins haven’t even been updated a little bit. They are the same as they were in the 80’s but the wear and tear is adding up. I think for the price you pay they could keep the cabins rustic and still upgrade them a little bit. Also maybe have cabins where animals are allowed and some where they aren’t so those of us without can also enjoy ourselves.…

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are happy you came back to share the special experience and memories with us. I assure you the rooms have been updated countless times since the 80's, and we continue to replace components every year. Almost half of our rooms are designated non-pet rooms, so there are many options for the future. We do apologize for the smell you encountered and have relayed this information to the housekeeping department. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope to see you again in the future.
