I was pleasantly surprised to see we had an ocean view. The room was also bigger than I expected. We were extremely happy with our stay. It was nice of the lodge to provide walking sticks in our room for use while there, although we didn't need them. The only downside was the smell in the hall area. Thankfully it... More

We stayed in the Kalaloch Room. It is very big for 2 people, but we still enjoyed the room. We had a great view. From our window we saw eagles, otters, whales, hummingbirds! Great spot to just relax or use as a home base to explore. Great staff! Great food! The smoked salmon was yummy. Clean, comfortable room.

Kalaloch Lodge is located right on the Pacific. The lodge is quaint, employees friendly, and while the rooms are not luxurious, they are clean and comfortable. We came for the location, and it was totally worth it. Not only can you visit the beach, sea stacks and tide pools, but you have access to other amazing adventures in Olympic National Park.... More

We got oceanfront cabin 43 which shared a wall with another cabin. We never heard the other family, so that was no problem. Most cabins were for single families. Our dining nook had a large ocean-facing window. We dined on pizza while watching orca swimming! We had a convenient sliding glass door to the back of the cabin. We were... More

This ocean front cabin was perfect for our nature loving family. Quality beds and linens and towels made for added comfort. Kitchen perfect for preparing meals. Olympic was our families 21st National Park and possibly the favorite of all!

Myself, husband, 2 sons (25&22) Stayed in the Seacrest building at Kalaloch. We were on the second floor(#407) and had a partial view of the ocean. Our room was a bit older, but it is a national park lodge and most are, but very well kept, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The area is so peaceful with the ocean... More

I shared a 2Q room in the main lodge on the ocean side of the building. The view was stunning. The overnight rate is a bit steep, but it is a gorgeous view. The mattresses on the beds were comfortable and reasonably new. The room also had a desk, desk chair, night stand, 2nd chair and dresser with granite top... More

Location can't be beat -- views + beach + proximity to Ruby/Hoh/Quinault -- and restaurant is probably the best within an hour+ drive. Friendly staff. Cabins are pretty basic, though, and kitchen setup was lacking. Had the restaurant not been as good, we would have been frustrated in efforts to cook without basic things like a cutting board. Keep your... More

Enjoyed one day exploring the beach and Hoh Rainforest. Stayed in one of the beach front cabins and had awesome views. We had a lite dinner at the restaurant that I was thought ok, nothing great and nothing bad. We were pleasantly surprised how tasty breakfast was, the local berry syrup was excellent on pancakes. My kids got a so... More

We stayed in the main lodge right about the restaurant with our two kids, 10 & 18. The room was perfect for our family and the wrap around deck with the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Our room was very clean and did have a TV. We walked out to the beach to take in the view and watch... More
