We have been visiting Kalaloch for 23 years and love the semi-isolation and relaxation as well as the beautiful beaches, tide pools, and rain forest hikes in the area. It's a great place for kids, dogs, and nature lovers.

What a wonderful place to visit the Olympic peninsula coast! The views of the Pacific and the rustic cabins and lodge are wonderful. A nice restaurant if you desire good food prepared by someone else, but our cabin was equipped with a full kitchen and service for 4. There was a store on site with food available and planning would... More

Spent a night here after visiting Olympic National Park. Had a duplex cabin on the bluff overlooking the beach. Spectacular view of the beach, and just a short walk to the stairs down to the sand. Miles of quiet beach to walk on, or stroll thru the woods in the campground. Dining room service and food were excellent. Room was... More

The staff was very friendly and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food in the lodge restaurant was great! The Kalaloch room has a fantastic view, although we could not stand to be in it very long due to the vile smell coming from the toilet which permeated the suite. The sink was very slow draining which left... More

A wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable. Easy beach access, gorgeous views from the lodge/cabins. The restaurant served wonderful food time and time again. Loved it, can't wait to come back.

The lodge was great, charming log cabins with wood-burning stoves. The ocean views were lovely. The steps at the bottom of the stairway to the beach were treacherous. The restaurant food was expensive and not great.

Cabin was fresh and well stocked. Would have been so wonderful for a group wanting to use the kitchen. Had a lovely quiet sleep. It was great to be able to reach the beach in just a few minutes. Thirty years ago (the last time we were in the area) we tented with children so it was very luxurious to... More

All of the staff members were exceptionally well qualified and helpful. Each night we built a fire in our room's wood burning stove, which gave us warmth and added immeasurably to the ambiance. The view from our cabin was magnificent. The restaurant had an excellent menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Kalaloch is wonderfully rustic with cozy cabins. Be sure to get a cabin with a wood burning stove as the nights and early mornings are crisp and chilly. When we arrived our 2 cabins weren't ready at 4:00, but the lovely ladies at check in gave us 2 vouchers for free appetizers at the bar in the restaurant. We also... More

We loved the beach here although we loved Ruby Beach more. See Kalaloch suspended cedar tree at beach for campground. Coffee in general store is awesome. Make reservations for dinner at 5:00 and will most likely get a table by window. We loved cabin #11 for location but also would take #12,13, or 14. Food in restaurant is very good.
