I booked a double room at Forks Motel for 4 days past in March for a 4 day fishing trip, the online booking process was easy and I even changed it from a King to Double Queen as my friend decided to join me without extra cost. The Motel is right in the middle of the Main road so easily accessible to all amenities, cafes and restaurants so there was no problem in getting food even with a lack of onsite dining. There is onsite dryer facilities however which was very handy when we were drenched on one day out fishing. The room is enough for two to get around easily, comfortable, clean and tidied up daily. Cost was very reasonable, especially when it was the same price for two friends. There was a large TV, free wifi, coffee making facilities and all the usual laundry and toiletries. Reception Staff were efficient and friendly.…
4.5 stars. We stayed in Forks while visiting Olympic National Park. Forks is a great base for visiting the western sections of this amazing park, including the coastal areas and the unique Hoh Rainforest and Hoh River Valley. Forks is what you would expect: a small Washington town with limited dining options and facilities. But the supermarket is conveniently located and some of the rooms at the Forks Motel have kitchens. Back to the motel: in general, the spacious suite we stayed in was amazing. We didn't expect a motel in the middle of nowhere to have such nice rooms. There was a separate bedroom with two queen beds plus a queen bed in the living room. The kitchen was a lifesaver in the absence of good restaurants. The room was CLEAN, particularly the spacious bathroom. Plenty of towels on hand. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Plumbing worked great. Bedding was comfortable, I think they went through a renovation in 2019, which explains the condition of the place. Our corner room on the ground floor away from Hwy 101 was perfect for our small dog, who didn't have much foot traffic to react to. Across the street was a school where we could take him for walks. The only downside (hence 4.5 rather than 5 stars) was that the night lady at the reception desk who I spoke with on the phone and at check-in wasn't exactly the warm and friendly type. A bit impatient, in my opinion. But she wasn't rude either. I think that's just how folks are in Forks. So long as they maintain the facility in this pristine condition and at this price, we will definitely want to go back and explore more of the vicinity.…
Excellent as usual....located in the central part of Forks so going to the grocery store is a piece of cake. The laundry on premise is also very handy. I enjoy the updated decor of this motor inn. I typically ask for a ground floor room as it makes it convenient for taking luggage from your car.
While touring the Olympic National Park we stayed at the Forks Motel for one pleasant night. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The lady at the reception directed us to a nice restaurant across the road for a nice dinner. Very Nice Motel!! Great Olympic Park Access Point!!
Was just doing a trip around the 101 loop and had an enjoyable stay here. There are a few steps to into the lobby and some of the ground floor rooms. If you have trouble with stairs like me, be warned. It is located across the street from a restaurant--had dinner and breakfast there--and an espresso stand. the rooms were clean and ours had a bath mat--rare to find anymore.
