Tall Chief RV Campground is often commended for its cleanliness, with guests regularly noting the well-kept grounds and spotless amenities. The campground's spacious sites are popular among visitors, offering a range of conveniences, although some have mentioned limited services during certain seasons and connectivity issues.
The location is a highlight, offering a mix of seclusion and easy access to nearby cities and nature. However, the value proposition has been questioned by guests who expect more from the service and amenities for the price charged.

Lovely wooded sites with room between you and neighbors. I support cleaning bathrooms but this park closes bathrooms constantly all day long from 1 to 2 hours. It is a long walk to the bathroom and shower. I would be happy with one deep cleaning a day (no more than 45 min ) and several 10-15 minute wipe up cleanings. Constant long closings is a management error.

Major draw was a pool/hot tub that didn't work. Should carry spare parts instead of having to make visitors miss out. Mini-golf area needed plant debris blown clear. This place is too big and charges too much money to not have sewer hook up's at most sites

The sites were pretty large and decently separated by about 50 feet from the next RV. Electricity and water hookups were at each site, but the sewage dump was at a central location. Some of the sites are reserved for large (>32 ft RV's) but we didn't know that until we had pulled into a site and saw a small paper sign folded around the site number post indicating as much. The facility could use a bit of upkeep. Our site had a broken handle on the water faucet that required me to use some pliers to turn on the water and the hose at the dump site was chock full of holes and was spraying water all over when in use.
The bathroom was very clean and well stocked. A laundromat with vending machines was in the same building. The pool looked very nice, but it was not open for use in early April. The campground has three bathrooms, but when we were there, two of them were closed for maintenance and several sites were closed for tree trimming. Our site had a concrete and iron fireplace, but it was right under a tree which was an obvious fire hazard. There were a lot of families with kids and dogs there. The campground was nonetheless quiet at night.
The location is about a mile off highway 202, halfway between Redmond and Snoqualmie Falls. The campground is in a forest of mostly Western Red Cedar.

We were greeted with friendly staff & muddy pot holes once we arrived. our site had dead trees, leaning over the site & ready to fall, when we left a day early. A storm of any kind snow or wind would be a safety issue.
Sites were covered with slimy leaves and not set to drain properly so again puddles everywhere, for a spendy campground, sites should be graded properly and holes should be filled.
Ladies bathroom does not vent properly so when one takes a shower the entire room steams up and the ceiling drips, entire floor gets wet. The laundry room requites you to use a phone app with a credit card attached & if you do not have a modern phone you do not get to use the laundry.
Propane onsite is very nice!
All the amenities are closed for the winter but the prices reflect as if you get to use them in the winter.

Gross, poorly maintained, uncleaned bathrooms. No mention of pool/covid restrictions on website. Rude staff that didn’t even try to correct issues when brought up to them like no soap or paper towel in bathrooms. They also do not like getting the ice they offer at the station.

Overall this is a nice place to stay for a few days. The staff is very friendly and helpful! We stayed during the Virus, so the pool and other amenities were all closed. However, the pool looked to be very nice and well kept!
Our only complaint was the amount of long term residents and their lack of care for their individual sites. The campground could do a better job holding those individuals accountable for keeping their sites clean and less cluttered. Also, if you stay during the rainy season, be prepared for the sites to be lacking in amply gravel. It can get a bit muddy!

I stayed for one night and try to find a spot has a better privacy. I chose site 66. Everything was good but there were many animal wastes.
It is better that the campground can clean those animal wastes periodically.

Amazing this place is tucked away so close to Seattle. Woods and private sites. Beautiful pool. Putt putt course could use some attention. Only 2 bathrooms with one closed at 7 pm so evening showering was a bit crowded but not bad or a big deal. Is a bit pricey for camping if not a member but was really nice and close to so much to do in this area if visiting from elsewhere

We stayed at many RV parks, Tall Chief as the only one that was on complete lock down. We couldn't get Firewood, Ice or even a soda from the vending machine. The Pool and Hot Tub were closed but there was no indication of that when booking online. I understand CoVid-19 is making things difficult, but if you are going to offer minimal services, consider dropping your price to reflect that. I feel ripped off.

While the camp sites are beautifully shaded and overall a pretty place to camp, our experience was disappointing. We were notified several days ahead of our stay that the pool and hot tub and there may be electrical hook-up service issues due to an electrical outage. While we were offered the opportunity to cancel, as you can imagine trying to secure another RV site at last minute during the peak of the season in this area was an impossibility.
Upon arrival the check in employee was a bit distraught having to deal with some very unhappy campers and obvioiusly was not receiving adequate information from upper management on the electrical issue and how to deal with customers. The check in process as a result took nearly 30 minutes, with four campers in line behind us.
We chose Tall Chief for the amenities as advertised on the website. Their pool is resort size, it was an attraction for us in selecting them for our stay. There was no offer to discount the rate for the out of service amenities or for the day that we experienced with out electricity. In our view this is poor customer service and therefore cannot recommend them to others.

That is a great question!
We have been on the road since APril and have had many parcels delivered to us at camp sites, but since Tall Chief is a secure location, you will want to check with the staff.
I would think that your goodies could be delivered to the gate, then a call could be made alerting you of their arrival. Not sure the delivery vehicle would be allowed on the grounds coming to your site....but you never know. Check with the rangers!
We have no idea how much it costs for a cabin but you can check the Thousand Trails website and call for rates
They closed it for the season 9/16/18.
King County Metro (Bus) travels to seattle from nearby. I do not know the exact route or cost though. The public transportation is good though
