We came to Sundara to break the monotony of staying home. My friend had just retired and I wanted to see the fall colors . Our hostess, Jackie, met us at the door wearing her mask and smiling with her eyes. We felt immediately welcome. The pool was a draw for me because I love to swim and we had it all to ourselves. You can even reserve a time so that you aren't swimming with strangers. It's nearly lap size in length and there are lovely touches like turtles and ducks who squirt fountains into the air, there is a slide for the kids, the pool is warm year round. There is also a hot tub for your use. There are plush robes and towels available. The house is so pretty . I'd have been satisfied sitting on the porch half the day! We had the Sunflower room, very charming. We found the bed to be very comfortable, and the rooms are cozy . The amenities are over the top. There's a library full of interesting books and movies, a little shared kitchen with coffee and tea and milk and water and cups and saucers. There are local guidebooks and maps. The art in the rooms and hallways is fascinating, many of the pieces the hosts collected while travelling and serving in the military. The breakfasts were cooked to our preferences and were substantial. We had stuffed french toast and frittatas as our choices. They were a great start to our day. We had an appointed time, and had our breakfasts alone. The grounds are interesting too, you don't really have to even leave the house! Chickens next door keep you entertained and there's a path around the lower gardens. Our hosts had advice on where to go and what to see and do. It was a beautiful time of year to visit the area. We were only there two days, but it felt like a restful vacation. I highly recommend visiting Sundara West.…
This B&B was so lovely and wonderful that I don’t even know where to begin! The house itself is gorgeous and very well-maintained, looks just like a Victorian dollhouse. Jackie is so welcoming and friendly but doesn’t intrude on your time there. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful! Our room (The Lavender) was so pretty, the bed very very comfortable, the en-suite beautiful and filled with the most peace-inducing soaps and aromatherapy oils (made by Jackie’s son and worth a purchase!). Our breakfast was delicious and kept us happily full for hours. I highly recommend Sundara if you’re looking for a relaxing and de-stressing weekend away. Can’t wait to come back!
I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful oasis in northern Washington. The hosts provided a warm and inviting welcome and a serene environment ... we loved the comfort and cleanliness of our beautifully decorated room, the peacefulness of the indoor swimming pool and hot tub, the simple joy of the outdoor sitting areas including the porch swing and the homemade frittata, biscuits and fresh fruit. Thank you!!!!
Sundara West B&B was perfect in every way. The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely grounds and all the flowers. We spent a lot of time reading on the porch while listening to the birds. The yellow room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the indoor pool or the hot tub this time, but we plan to visit again. Breakfast was delicious! Jackie and Marshall are gracious hosts and we are looking forward to our next visit.
Looking for a quiet, relaxing, yet indulgent and beautiful place to gather? We loved Sundara West B&B in Everson. Gorgeously decorated and absolutely immaculate throughout. Hot tub and swimming pool perfect temperatures and beautifully maintained. The grounds are serene for wandering and the view of Mount Baker breathtaking. And the breakfast- delicious fresh and plentiful. Comfy beds in the spacious bedrooms with views assured a great night’s sleep. The owners are gracious and eager to please. We will return!
