These chalet condo units are all independently owned so may vary. We stayed in unit 533. It was well furnished and clean and mostly well kept up. The location is great, right at the ski resort so can walk to the gondola, amenities at the resort, and many hiking trails. We appreciated the fact that the housekeepers left sanitizing spray for us, as we'd forgotten to pack ours. The downsides were that we felt the price was excessive: $179 weeknight, $250 weekend, plus a $45 cleaning fee. There were 7 pages of do's and don'ts that put us in fear of losing our $200 deposit - perhaps these chalets get a lot of partiers, but we felt a bit cowed by all the instructions and warnings. For this price, we thought we should have been treated more like hotel guests, not Airbnb-ers. Lots of steep steps up to the unit.…
We stayed in unit S522 - Standard units. Although it says not-remodeled, I was expecting old appliances and outdated furniture. This is really run-down and in poor condition The carpet is in terrible conditions and smells bad - clearly there was some smoking in this unit, and holes are visible. There is a kitchen but there isn't really a table to eat dinner. A dishwasher is pretty much standard everywhere in the US and there is none here. It's definitely not worth the total $415 for two nights. On the positive side, the outside is nice and there is a nice space to eat outside. The property managers Nino and Victoria were really nice and super-helpful.
We rented condo #509, for three nights for $500 plus cleaning fee and taxes for a total of $605.We were there during early Sept. which is off season. It was advertised as not remodeled. We expected older appliances and furniture but this unit was really run-down and shabby. The entry was into the bedroom, which had very poor lighting making the room depressing. The bathroom had only one outlet which was on the light fixture above the sink so your dryer cord hung in front of the mirror. The kitchen had very old and expired condiments. The oil was rancid. There was a deck but no deck furniture, The overall appearance of the Chalets was in need of an upgrade. Definitely not worth the price. Cheryl the manager was very helpful and nice.
