Amanda treated us so well at her B&B. The room was exquisite and so nicely furnished. The common areas were comfy and breakfast was gourmet class, cooked by Amanda. And the pond/terrace area was so relaxing and beautiful, with birds and wildlife to watch. Couldn't be happier.

Otters Pond is a beautiful bed and breakfast! My wife and I recently visited on our honeymoon, and the place did not disappoint! The rooms are modern and as clean as it gets! The views are unbeatable, and the breakfast was amazing! A hot tub overlooking the pond provided extra coziness as the night winds down. Amanda was a great host and accommodated breakfast to our schedule! The only downside is that it is a little off the beaten path. If you are looking to get in tune with nature, then this is your spot, but if you wanted to be able to walk to town, that may be a difficult feat.

Nice place near Moran state park. Good food, nice room and furnishings. Friendly staff. Best part was the birding on a pretty pond, feeder birds and water birds. We look forward to returning in the coming years.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our 4 days/nights at Otter's Pond. I'm not a bird enthusiast, and I still found the pond itself mesmerizing. We loved having breakfast with that spectacular view! The location is great. For hiking, it was awesome to have Moran State Park just a few minutes away, and Turtleback Mountain not much further. Amanda's breakfasts were spectacular, and her recommendations for restaurants and activities invaluable. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean and inviting with beautiful furnishings and artwork from local artists. And to top if off, there is Amanda herself, who is just a delight to spend a little time with.

My husband and I stayed at Otters Pond for our first visit to Orcas Island and we loved it. It’s situated in a beautiful, wooded spot. We enjoyed birdwatching in the mornings while eating breakfast outside on the deck, observing about a dozen bird species at the feeders. Amanda made really delicious, hearty breakfasts too!

My adult daughter and I stayed here in May 2021. The Swan Room was lovely, and we saw SO many new birds! The food...well, get ready to hike the rest of the day. Everything Chef Amanda prepared was delicious, and she was very responsive to any food sensitivities we had. The location is perfect...not far from Eastsound restaurants for lunch and dinner, and right on the edge of Moran Park for adventures. Highly recommend.

We are here at Otter's Pond right now and will be checking out later today. We ended up booking a small and unassuming room (The Chickadee Room), but we were VERY happy with it. Right on the ground floor near the common areas with a great view of the wildlife at window height. The bathroom served our needs delightfully. Amanda, chef and owner, prepared soooo much food at breakfast (all delicious and mostly homemade/farm-to-table), plus, there was free wine every day. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of vino outside both nights of our stay. Excellent. We loved staying here and would definitely do it again. Highly recommended. Oh, one more thing...The Mansion restaurant is very nearby and has amazing food and views. We did not enjoy our desserts, but we ate there two nights, and all the actual food was really, really, really good. Great chef. In Eastsound, we also really enjoyed our lunch at White Horse Pub...also with excellent view.

What an absolute gem of a location. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic, thoughtful getaway you have found it. Otters Pond was a fabulous location for my Covid Valentine’s Day elopement. We felt treated like royalty. The hosts were so incredibly kind and went out of their way to make our day special- going so far as to be our witnesses when a surprise snowstorm threatened to cancel everything for us! The treatment is excellent, the bedrooms are cozy and relaxing, and the food is *to die for!* Amanda is a phenomenal chef- you will not regret breakfast and if you are lucky enough to splurge for a private dinner: treat yourself. It was probably the best meal of my life. We can’t wait to return! 🥰🥰🥰

Delightfully modern, clean & comfortable B&B set on an artist dream palette of Otter's Pond, pleasantly appointed with lily pads, roaming deer, a variety of birds and a knowledgable, gracious host, Amanda. Deliciously Amanda created breakfasts, a James beard recognized chef, locally sourced, eggs from her own chickens, tasty local coffee, warm banana bread fresh from the oven, fresh fruit & orange juice, pancakes flowing with local blueberries, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs & cured bacon.. I could go on! All this centrally located just minutes from Moran State Park for hiking, kayaking & exploring. Not far from the towns of Olga and the unique shopping in Eastsound. A De-Lovely moment in time & place to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary on the beautiful island of Orcas!
