A nice place to stay. The rooms are a bit small, but you expect this with a B and B. There was no TV. The breakfasts were quite good and not overpowering.

My husband and I stayed in the Pelican room. It was very nice and large. This room has a nice size private bathroom .There was a wonderful deck with a table and two chairs. The view of the water was beautiful and peaceful. Carol was wonderful and helpful. She had menus for the various restaurants downstairs. Nothing on the island...

We spent 3 wonderful, restful days and nights at the Blue Heron, which is run by Carol, her husband Bogden, and their dog Pulaski. The inn is very dog- (and child-) friendly, and has 2 rooms facing the water, and the larger, very private "Otter" room (where we stayed). Carol and Bogden are terrific hosts, and made us feel very...

Stayed with my 3 dogs for 2 nights in the Otter room. Very comfortable bed in a room that was in the back of the house with a separate entrance. Carol, Bogden, and Pulaski were gracious hosts who went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Would stay there again for sure!

Moonlight on the water and a full moon! What a view outside the french doors and balcony. This B and B is as cute and cozy as it gets. The breakfasts were "ambrosia", delicious and varied. Snacks were served every afternoon and disappeared quickly. This B abd B has a beautiful setting, friendly, knowledgeable hosts, and is close to everything....

Our short stay at the Blue Heron was fantastic. Carol and Bogden are great people to talk to and very hospitable. The almond rocha and oatmeal cookies that were there when we arrived were delicious, we probably ate most of them. We stayed in the Egret room, where the view from the deck is nice and a good place to...

My husband and I spent the July 4th weekend in the Egret room at the Blue Heron. Carol & Bogdan were excellent hosts. They supplied us with perfect restaurant recommendations and know the island very well. The Egret room was very cute with an awesome view and balcony. We brought our Yorkie with us and she was very comfortable the...
