We reserved 6 rooms for my daughters wedding. They were incredibly helpful in setting everything up to make sure each party got the room best for them. Then came Covid and we put the wedding off a year and they worked with us to change the date very nicely. Then my daughter canceled the big wedding out of fear of Covid and we lost $1000's in cancellation fees from so many vendors. Pretty much the only place that did not charge a cancelation fee was this hotel. So grateful to them for working with us so beautifully! Will definitely stay there next time we go to Orcas.
We took the ferry over from San Juan Island where we were visiting a few days before and arrived on Orcas to stayed here in Unit 6. The view from our unit was amazing and it was very quiet even though the building is right near the road. Large lawn across the road with picnic tables. The condo unit is just few minutes walk to all the little shops in East Sound. Next door is the Outlook Inn which we stayed at last year and that is when we noticed Landmark. We wanted to stay in a condo and have the convenience. This unit has 2 bedrooms. The WIFI was good and parking is behind the building. It was nice to order take out from Portofino Pizza for one evening and the other night we dined at "New Leaf" restaurant in the Outlook Inn. The food is amazing. Reservations is a must! All the locals and visitors were wearing mask (signs every where) and that was good.…
I will start by saying this was an awesome stay. It was our first trip to the San Juan Islands and it did not disappoint!. We stayed in a waterfront view condo. It was definitely a $1,000,000 view! However, the first thing you notice when you enter the unit is the condition of the carpets--definitely need cleaning or replacement. The kitchen was great. The bathroom seems to have been recently updated, but there were holes in the wall where earlier fixtures had been removed. Bedding and mattresses may have seen better days also. Proximity to Eastsound (town) was a plus. Manager's knowledge of the local area was a definite plus. I would definitely return, but request a higher floor, as we had a very active small child above us... I liked their Covid precautions, except the manager, behind plexiglass, didn't wear a mask. Not sure if that meets the current protocols or not...…
Beautiful views and several very good restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk. I recommend paying extra for a room with water views if available. Also short drives to both Turtleback and Moran parks and the ferry terminal. The town is very walkable if you want to eat at restaurants, but the rooms are also spacious and well set up if you're looking for a self-sufficient vacation (i.e., cooking your own meals). We stayed in room #5 on the ground floor with water view. The view was spectacular and the room was spacious, could certainly accommodate a family or 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to cook meals. The room was a little run down, could use some updates, but overall was clean and comfortable enough. It seems like they're in the process of renovating units on a rolling basis. Unit 6 was undergoing pretty substantial renovations next door. We didn't have any problems with the wifi.…
My sister and I stayed in room 203 for two nights. The view out the balcony was amazing and the place had a nice set up. There was everything you'd need to feel comfortable in the condo. My sister locked herself out of the room twice and both were at night. The second night one of the ladies came at 2 am to let her in and did so with a smile on her face. Those are the type of people who run the place. We'll certainly be back the next time we visit Orcas Island.
