Very nice place. The Foreman cabin was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. We enjoyed the cows in the nearby fields. If we visit Concrete again we would certainly stay there.

Ovenell's Heritage Inn is located in the wonderfully named Concrete in Washington. Located a short drive over the river, Ovenell’s (pronounced Oh-vuh-nell’s) is an extremely friendly, well-kept slice of relaxation. We stayed here while seeing the region and used Ovenell’s as a base camp to see Mount Baker and other parts of the area. The staff were all friendly and... More

We stayed in the Fisherman cabin. I cannot say enough about the place--the Ovenell family was gracious and welcoming, the cabin was very nice, clean, and cutely decorated, and the property was beyond compare. In trying to describe it, I thought of a recent Subaru commercial--the one where the couple has to decide between taking the gravel road which includes... More

We stayed in the Still House. Clean, spacious, well maintained residence. Wonderful deck overlooking pastures and the majestic Mt. Baker. The owners and staff were very friendly, informative, and helpful. The only downfall was that we were only there 2 days. We would recommend Ovenell's Heritage Inn to anyone.

My wife and I were passing through with our infant daughter to visit the Mount Baker Nat'l Park, and we booked the Woodsman Cabin for 3 nights. Eleanor was a gracious hostess, and she gave us a warm welcome and a tour even though we rolled in late (slow traffic coming from Vashon Island). The cabin was a "tiny house... More

We were in town for my granddaughter's high school and college graduations. We rented Bear Hollow guesthouse for two couples, a toddler and a single adult. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable, everything clean and inviting. We enjoyed having a full kitchen even though we ate most of our meals elsewhere. We loved the quiet, the trails for walking or... We will be back! Such a wonderful place to stay. We loved our cabin. The amenities were perfect. Nice for walking with the kids. Great place to start a drive up into the Cascades. The cabin was decorated perfectly. We ate in & didn't find ourselves needing anything that wasn't provided. Lovely place to start a family tradition.

We recently spent two nights at Ovenell's Heritage Inn in Concrete. This is a very cool lodging option that combines a definite farm atmosphere with natural forest scenery. We stayed in the Bear Hollow guest house and couldn't have been happier. My wife is pretty picky and this place was super clean. It was also decorated thoughtfully and comes with... More

We were going to stay the night elsewhere but at the last minute found this place and so glad we did! Eleanor was so sweet on the phone with booking and helped make sure we were in just the right accommodations traveling with two young kiddos. Stayed overnight in the Eagles cabin Place was clean, large size cabin for the... More

Stayed in one of the cabins, 'the fisherman' which was adorned with, you got it, cheesy fishing items - even a Billy Bass on the wall (which sadly wasn't plugged in or I would terrorize my wife with it all day and night). Cabins are in a small compound down a dirt road past the cattle fields, secluded from the... More

An interesting review. Yes, the "Billy Bass" fish might be a bit cheesy, but the other "fishing" items in the cabin are from my father. Ray Jungbluth or "Red" as people remember him was one of the first fishing guides on the Skagit River in the 1930's. Ray's original creel and Skagit River Fishing Guide sign adorn the walls in...
