My 17-year-old son and I stayed in the Woodsman cabin two days in August. The cabin was very clean and decorated with a variety of antique, outdoor type items, which I believe were family heritage items, and I rather liked. A lot of thought was put into maximizing the space to provide the greatest utility in this very small cabin.... More

Loved our cabin, spent lots of time on the shady front porch relaxing after our day jaunts to the Northern Cascades. Room to walk around and enjoy nature, saw deer. Nice town with good restaurants and grocery store. Very friendly and hospitable staff, comfortable bed, and everything we needed in a quaint but modern cabin.

In a picturesque and welcoming small group of cabins near the Skagit River, we loved the surrounding beauty, comfortable and well-appointed cabin (obvious love and caring on display) and the welcoming and friendly family who own the ranch. Above our expectations were the satellite tv and the wifi, such as you'd find in any main-stream hotel room. We took them... More

This is the place to be if you want to be away from a typical in-town hotel or motel. It's like a studio apartment, in cabin form, out in the woods. I could live in this place (if I could afford to) ! There is no vehicle traffic, and no noise. Only you and nature. The cabin is modern, comfortable,... More

We stayed here for one night before a five-day backcountry trek: we were mostly looking for a comfortable place near the ranger station and trailhead. (Also, I love farms.) When we arrived at 4 p.m., we learned that the room we reserved had been given to another couple. Because the management only does bookings over the phone, we had no... More

We apologize for the mix up in the client's reservation It is not our policy to hold a reservation for 24 hours without credit card information, but we did in this instance since they were traveling via plane at the time. When the spouse called he failed to mention the room was being held under another name, therefore the mix... More

You can order beef and grill it at you cabin, Your alarm clock is the sounds of cows mooing as they wake. Staff is wonderful.... More

Very nice place. The Foreman cabin was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. We enjoyed the cows in the nearby fields. If we visit Concrete again we would certainly stay there.

Ovenell's Heritage Inn is located in the wonderfully named Concrete in Washington. Located a short drive over the river, Ovenell’s (pronounced Oh-vuh-nell’s) is an extremely friendly, well-kept slice of relaxation. We stayed here while seeing the region and used Ovenell’s as a base camp to see Mount Baker and other parts of the area. The staff were all friendly and... More

We stayed in the Fisherman cabin. I cannot say enough about the place--the Ovenell family was gracious and welcoming, the cabin was very nice, clean, and cutely decorated, and the property was beyond compare. In trying to describe it, I thought of a recent Subaru commercial--the one where the couple has to decide between taking the gravel road which includes... More

We stayed in the Still House. Clean, spacious, well maintained residence. Wonderful deck overlooking pastures and the majestic Mt. Baker. The owners and staff were very friendly, informative, and helpful. The only downfall was that we were only there 2 days. We would recommend Ovenell's Heritage Inn to anyone.
