Absolutely lovely setting and perfect spot for our base for exploring North Cascades. We stayed in the Foreman cabin and it had everything we could possibly need. The cabin was very clean and we didn't expect clean towels every day, but they were offered to us! Gorgeous view of Mount Baker as you approach the property. Another wonderful surprise was the $20 a night discount for my husband's military service. Highly recommend Ovenell's. And while you're there, but sure to take a boat ride on the Diablo Dam and eat at 5b's bakery in town.

Charming cottages in a peaceful area make this inn a sure bet. I had the Fisherman cabin and it was very comfortable. Small shower and sink but loved the homemade soap and decor of the cabin. I explored nearby North Cascades and this was a perfect home base. Lots of grounds to explore. I visited the nearby cows on a morning walk and also saw deer one evening. Lots of privacy. Good communication from the owners and easy check in and check out. Would stay again when in the area.

The tranquility n listening to the birds singing early morning surrounded w mountains, was incredible feeling n making us also feel at peace in this world. We would highly recommend this log cabin if someone plan to visit North Cascades National Park, WA.

We came up to photograph eagles this winter and we’re surprised to wake up to six inches of fresh powdery snow. The cabin and the grounds are simply breathtaking in the glistening snow. The cabin is so romantic and warm with the wood stove going. This is our second time here and will definitely return. The staff is so kind and the maintenance people immediately were out in the morning to clear the driveway and steps for safety. Highly recommend this stay.

Clean, comfortable, and charming log cabin fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Quiet and secluded, yet close to town for restaurants and shopping. Great base for exploration of the Northern Cascades.

We stayed in the Fisherman's cabin, which was quiet, very clean and had everything we needed, including a full refrigerator and a 2-burner stovetop. After a day of visiting North Cascades NP, it was nice to come back to the cabin and just relax on the porch. The cabins are located on a working farm and are clustered together. Kitchen had enough accessories to cook dinner, plus there is an outdoor grill. Ovenell's is located about 45 minutes from the North Cascades visitor center. Food options in Concrete and Marblemount are limited, so having the ability to cook was nice.

We enjoyed staying here. The lodges are far enough away from the road so it is very quiet. I saw a playground and picnic tables nearby. The cabin we had - Woodsman - was small. It was very cozy, but tight. Bathroom was fine. Everything was clean. We stayed here one night while traveling through North Cascades.

We stayed in the Wrangler cabin on our trip to the North Cascades National Park. We got a great view of Mt. Baker on our last day here as we drove into the cabin - it had been obscured by clouds up to that point. The cabin was very clean and everything was in working order. The TV is hard to operate and uses the Dish TV system. The staff at check in were friendly and don't forget to ask about the home-made crumble if they have any available for sale. The price is reasonable. The only downside is that is so far to get to the main hiking trails within the park, but the lodging closer to the park does not appear to be well maintained as this.

Clouds shrouded the base of the mountain and mist hugged the white caps as I entered the farm lane of Ovenell’s Heritage Inn in the North Cascades range of Washington state. The mountains hid just barely as the sun began its brilliant and colorful show of setting. Blues, purples and subtle teals blended stunningly into pinks, oranges and yellows, painting the mountain in a mystical shroud like an artist’s vision. I drove slow, passing by the laying cattle, thinking about how I’m so grateful to be here now. Months of planning and lead up were followed by years of dreaming of the Pacific Northwest and the mountains and old growth forests. Once the excitement eased, a deep peace settled in my heart and chest as I drove on. I eventually came to a cluster of wood cabins and at the end of the row a sign hung on the door labeled “the Fisherman Cabin.” The place was still and all was quiet. A few cars littered the other cabins and an empty playground stared at me, and I thought how much fun it would be to bring my little boy Rowan next time I return to Washington. The Fisherman Cabin offered a studio setting with queen bed, 3/4 bath with shower, kitchenette, and a range of amenities like air conditioner, wifi, TV, propane fireplace, outdoor grill and picnic table, and a lovely covered porch with mountain views. I brought in my luggage and fell onto the bed, as I had been driving seven to eight hours. I meditated awhile before I urged myself to get up. I wandered around the cabin, fiddling around the kitchen, with the AC, and enjoying the tiny home-esque aesthetic. I felt very much at home, and loved every little I turned on a Netflix show and gathered myself, before showering, and making my way back out to experience the natural beauty of the North Cascades.

2 adults and 2-12 year olds stayed in the Woodsman cabin, a little tight with the futon out but plenty of room when it was up as a futon. All the amenities, nice front porch to sit at, fire pit available, wifi, cooktop, cookware and a window air conditioning unit.
