This is one of the nicest most pleasant campgrounds I’ve ever stayed in. The owner/staff were so pleasant and helpful. The location is pretty remote but so beautiful. We were there in the springtime and the hills were green. We had a lovely time. The grounds are neat and very well kept. The sites are spacious and level. Would love to return sometime!

Owners, Monica and Mike are very kind and accommodating; AND, they are committed to maintaing a clean, safe, courteous, family-friendly park and they enforce camping rules accordingly. The grounds are meticulously kept and the environment is friendly, peaceful, and inclusive of diverse campers. The little store and grill are sweet, and they don't jack up the prices. The campground is open year round but the office, store and grill, and inn are open seasonally in spring and summer. The groundskeeper, "Squirrel," lives onsite all year. This is our third time here in the last year since our daughter moved to WSU. We stayed here in April, August, and October. It is always immaculate. As someone with a disability, I find that this is one of the more accessible campgrounds. We work from our site often, and the $3.00 per day, per device premium wifi is perfect for online meetings. Pricing is reduced for multiple days and there is free wifi for leisure scrolling. HEADS UP! This is a popular hunting campground after mid October. If you and your group are hunters, this is a great base camp. If you aren't big hunting fans, maybe plan your visit around big game open season.

The far end of the campground is so far from the toilets I had to drive. Unacceptable in my view. My mini camper does not have a bathroom. The maintenance worker came to a screeching halt and pretty much lit into me about my having an unacceptable tent erected. Was disrespectful in both his demeanor and attitude. I had erected a toilet/shower tent with a mesh floor in it so I would not again have to drive to the toilets at 3 AM. Rather I could put my chemical toilet in it. Simply put he was rude. All he had to do was speak with respect and not come on like a storm trooper. I simply complied and bit my tongue but at 73 I've rarely been treated like that. Now to the positive. It was a nice location, things were clean and the sites are pretty nice were one nearer the amenities. IF booking I'd pay attention to site assignment. The Map on the KOA website gives a good representation of the campground. It is narrow and long.

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

Just spent eight nights in this campground right along the banks of the Snake River in the Washington Palouse region. Good rates and some really nice camping sites, some of which are surrounded by large, mature trees that help deflect the bright sun and heat. Full hookups with power ranging from 20A to 50A. There's a 9% grade coming down hill into the campground and then uphill leaving but it's not that bad.

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.

We will definitely be back! From the excellent customer service when checking in to the spacious sites, this is a great RV park. The grounds and bathrooms were very well kept and clean. There's a beach area, horseshoes, and volleyball net. A great place for family fun. The restaurant on site is a little pricey, but the food was good.
