Staying for a week. No one there Saturday or Sunday, so you just fill out the forms and drop them in. Stayed at the premium site that gives you a view of the lake and is right next to the park - very convenient if you have kids. Ducks and squirrels will come very close. Dogs are allowed till end of May which is nice, BUT no one enforces the pick up your dog poop rule. Monday the attendant came around to give parking passes - she had absolutely no personality. Was told you cannot have mats on the grass as it would kill it - was not in the policies sent but oh well. Keep in mind half of the grass was already dead anyway. There were hardly anyone there and she kept harassing the neighbors because they parked there 2nd vehicle in an unused space. What’s the big deal? Obviously if someone came they would move, but apparently empty spaces stay empty. Wifi is non-existent. Again, hardly anyone there and it was super slow. If you stay here, you’re staying because of location.

Came here for two nights and stayed four. Very pleasant spaces, many with shade trees and lake views, with a good grounds crew constantly working to keep things in great shape. From the park it's an easy walk across the street to several restaurants and a nearby IGA market for restocking supplies and a nice selection of local wines. Only complaint is that while some spots have newish tables, many don't. We got one of the old and rickety ones--and the splinters to prove it.

They added sprinklers every night so only place to sleep now would be in your camper. That’s it, no outdoor on grass even. They say to put tents on cement pad (right next to the road) but that also gets saturated!!! After 30+ years of coming here , huge disappointment to get here and find out no one can join us or sleep outside. Water hitting camper door and pad and full grasses area around the camper every night! The front desk people are rude and condescending teenagers . Super disappointed by The city of Chelan and their lack of planning and response to issues.

Beautiful park that is very well maintained and layed out with excellent location adjacent to Lake Chelan and walking distance to downtown. Full service sites with lots of green space and paved pads for parking rig. This is our third stay here, though not perfect. Could not get onto Wi-Fi even despite complaining to office who said they would get system re-booted - did not help. Staff in check-in booth said Wi-Fi was not friendly for an Apple computer or I-pads. Park has crazy rule about putting down mats on ground. I can understand a large mat on the grass that would damage the grass, but we put down a 2ft. X 2.5 ft. door mat to wipe our feet. Got written notice attached to coach saying we were in contravention of their "mat" rules. All the while other folks had gas fire rings, 75 quart coolers, 8 ft long tables, gas generators and other stuff around their rigs and no issues. Even had folks with fenced dog pen's and overhead shelters, some pens 30 ft across and no warnings. Worse than this there where 1 ton dually trucks parked with their rear dual wheels sitting on the grass and no warnings issued. For such a nice park seems crazy to upset folks for a door mat when all this other stuff allowed!

Atmosphere This is a beautiful campground. It is very spacious and you don't feel crowded. The campground is clean and even the campsites furthest from the beach are still an easy walk to the beach. We had full hookups. Price For two nights we paid $108 for full hookups. Amenities There are bathrooms very close to all the sites. The beach is long enough that you don't feel like it is crowded. There is a park next door with a skate park and a mini golf that you can pay $9 to play on. Downtown is an easy walk with some beautiful upper class stores and restaurants. Bathrooms The bathrooms are pretty clean, with a small amount of gnats flying around. Showers cost 50 cents for 4 minutes. Pretty is pretty good if you have thick hair to rinse. We stayed here because it is 15 min from the Deepwater Amiptheater
