My parents were visiting from the the East coast so we drove from Vancouver WA and spent one night at the Blue Heron so we could spend two days site seeing Mt St Helen. We were greeted by Judy who was friendly, warm and informative. This bed and breakfast is across the street from the first visitor center and offers...

Just across the highway from the Mt. St. Helen's visitors center is the Blue Heron Chateau B&B. We were greeted by the owner and shown immediately around the premises. We arrived shortly afternoon and did not expect to be able to check in room but that was not the case. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a balcony...

This is probably the best lodging option for visitors to the Mt.St. Helens area. A bit pricy, but worth it as the rooms all have views of pretty Silver Lake with Mt St Helens in the background; there is a wonderful porch to sit and sun in; and the breakfast was very substantial--ham and sausages, eggs, fruit, toast, and cinnamon...

My family spent two nights here and absolutely loved it. The inn is beautiful and homely with incredible views of Mount St. Helens and the gorgeous scenery. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Well-appointed rooms with private balcony, attractive public spaces, genuinely friendly and helpful management and staff. We would stay there again if visiting the area or in need of a stopover just a few miles from Interstate 5.

Recently my husband and I stayed here for two nights. Our main goal was to be close to the mountain and enjoy an attractive looking B&B. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. Our host was welcoming and gave us the grand tour, which was impressive. The property was actually designed as an inn, with seven private rooms and several lovely...

We needed a place to stay overnight after visiting Mt. St. Helens area, so were fortunate to find this B&B along the way (we were supposed to stay at Eco Park Lodge, which closed without our knowledge). We were the only guests on that one night, and had the entire place to ourselves. The place is extraordinary with nice French/European...

First, google "Blue Heron Chateau" for bookings - there's also a website for Blue Heron Inn, but nobody responds to requests from that website. The inn is pricey, but well located for Mt. St. Helen's, with big, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The operators seemed a little bemused by the whole process of taking guests but this didn't affect...

My experience was very similar to the others at the beginning but that's where it ends. I also had placed a deposit with "Chris". Upon learning at my arrival the Inn had been sold at auction, I took the time to discover the circumstances as I was losing my deposit and preferred to be correctly informed as to my options....

Be aware that there are new owners here and they claim to have no record of previous reservations. There are not a lot of places to stay in the Mt. St. Helen's area and we reserved a few months before our visit. Fortunately we decided to stop by to drop off our luggage in the morning and the new owner...
