What a hidden gem! The entire property is beautifully landscaped and charming. The cabins are luxurious. Breakfast is delicious! And the hosts are so nice and helpful. The location is perfect -- 25 minutes from the historic waterfall area in one direction and 25 minutes from the town of Hood River in the other direction. My husband and I stayed in the Green Leaf Cabin. I loved sitting out on our little porch with the view of the meadow. And we felt very comfortable and pampered, taking full advantage of the fireplace, bath robes, bath salts, bath jets, etc.

My wife and I stayed in the Mount Hood cabin one night before heading out of the Portland airport after a two-week Pacific Coast road trip. My expectations were high since it was a little bit of a surprise for my wife. All expectations were met and exceeded. The room is exactly pictured but it was somewhat larger than I expected. The pictures and reviews did not give enough credit to the grounds and gardens which were beautiful, having 2 fit pits with chairs and other sitting areas to soak up the atmosphere. The cabin had very high-end fixtures and furnishings. The jetted tub and the shower were both great. It was really quiet. There were lots of thoughtful extras. The bed was comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. A wonderful breakfast was served in our room. In the morning we sat out on the swing with a blanket on and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I definitely feel that we were treated to a memorable stay.

This was an amazing cabin with the most comfortable bed, robes and fireplace for our chilly night. The grounds are pristine and the gourmet breakfast was a delight as was talking with our hosts. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the Salmon Berry Cabin and it is very cozy, since it started snowing in Mid April, which put a damper on our plans. With good weather these would be lovely grounds with more to do but when cold any rainy it lacks amenities. A lot of attention is paid to every detail, such as nice soap & lotion, corkscrew, snacks & coffee maker, candles & lighter, bathrobe and even games. It was a bit chilly at night and we wished we would have had a comforter instead of just a blanket on the bed. A nice small breakfast is served in the host cabin. Carson itself has very little to offer. There is dining in the Brewery across the street, but everything else is about a 10-15 min drive.

Wow, this hidden gem is just that a gem. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle and truly a relaxing place. We ventured here to celebrate the purchase of our company. We wanted to get away but not venture too far from home. It was about an hour from our house to Carson. We were greeted by Linda with warm sugar cookies and a tour of our cabin. We stayed in the GreenLeaf cabin which is away from the other cabins. It has a lovely view of the back property with trees/flowers abounding. The grounds were meticulous and very well maintained. What made this place eve more special were the little touches we found throughout our cabin. Epsom salts, candles, snacks, lots of coffee, wonderful robes, and the jetted tub to name a few. We also had breakfast delivered and it was piping hot and delicious. We would have loved to stay for longer. This will certainly be a place that we return to in the future. We can't say enough about our stay.. it was perfect!

Staying in the Knotty Pine cabin for a personal weekend getaway was pure joy. The bed was so comfortable and the whirlpool tub was amazing. It was a nice surprise to find DVDs to borrow from the office to watch, and sitting in front of the gas fireplace was very comforting. I loved everything about staying at Carson Ridge. The breakfasts were the best meals I have experienced at a lodging in many years! Thank you Theresa and Richard for a relaxing and luxurious stay.

Took a couple days away to just relax and we couldn't have found a better place. We chose to have breakfast delivered to our room for an extra fee, it was delicious both days. We stayed in the Salmonberry cabin. Everyone working at the cabins were so pleasant and friendly. The bed was comfy, soaking tub set back in a little alcove with candles, so nice. And I was impressed that there was everything I needed to have a glass of wine! Loved the porch swing and the view. Just across the street from Backwoods Brewing for another great experience.

Amazing place to stay! My husband and I went here for our first anniversary and it was the perfect getaway! The hosts thought of everything as far as amenities available and had everything so nicely and beautifully set out. The cabins were luxurious and the food delicious!! Everything from the cabins to the grounds was immaculate. Truly well thought out and beautiful place to stay.

All the positive things said in other reviews are true. Any less than positive are figments of someone's imagination. Green Leaf cabin was comfortable, functioned well and made for an enjoyable week. The grounds are a delight to the eyes; neat, imaginative and creative without fuss. We walked them several times. The gas firepit on a cool night made sipping the Columbia River wine even more pleasant. The breakfasts, whether in the cabin or in the breakfast room, were amazing. I mentioned to the host, Richard, that I usually view things with a critical eye, but I found nothing at Carson Ridge. But, I am willing to keep trying. It was a great way to end a very challenging winter.

We went here to elope and getaway with our two dogs for a long weekend. It was simply perfect. The thoughtfulness of every detail that Theresa and Richard and their team put in is the best I've ever seen. From the moment you arrive you and welcomed it is truly a luxurious experience. I have recommended this place to all my friends and we already planing a trip back. Two of my favorite things are that we the homemade breakfast each morning and their activities book they have. There's so much to do in Carson, WA and the surrounding area, something for everyone.
