If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Seattle area, look no further. We stayed three nights in the Three Tree Point “suite” - which is really like an apartment. We had everything we needed to feel like it was our home away from home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the views are stunning, everything was spotless, and there were delicious breakfast foods, fresh fruit, drinks, and snacks waiting for us. The full kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals and Penny also provided a list of recommendations for local places to dine and sights to see. We enjoyed having morning coffee and evening drinks on the peaceful outdoor patio and had access to the outdoor hot tub and beach across the road. Thank you to our gracious hosts Penny and Doug for sharing their peaceful, relaxing haven with us. We will measure our experience at all future B&B/hotel stays against Three Tree Point. We hope to visit again – for a longer stay next time!

My wife and I stayed at the 3 Tree Point B n B for three nights in July. It is a unique property and in my opinion a wonderful alternative to hotels in Seattle. We stayed in the cottage which is completely private, super clean, very large, and stocked with everything you need for breakfast and snacks. From the bedroom and living area there are views of Vashon island, Puget sound, and Mount Rainier. It is located in a quiet mostly residential neighborhood so I recommend having a car. Penny is very communicative and helpful. We were very happy with our stay in every way. Terry A

What a dream! Penny greeted me and gave me a tour, showing me how the heater, fire place, and other items worked. There was a personalized note waiting for me with chocolate chip cookies and fresh flowers. The owners did an outstanding job of providing a perfect experience. There was a breakfast bar, items to make a few recipes they provided, a full kitchen. The view, just wow. I had the perfect view of Mount Rainier, and the sunrise each morning of my stay was 10/10. I didn't have a car, and it was a quick Uber to Trader Joes to pick up a few groceries (restaurants also easy distance). I will say I never wanted to leave, and will absolutely stay here again. The perfect peaceful retreat to recharge! Thank you!

Three Tree Point B&B is one of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed at. Beautifully appointed, modern, stunning views of Vashon Island and Puget Sound. It’s on a quiet dead end street. The host and hostess, Doug and Penny, are very fastidious and welcoming.
When I arrived at the cottage, an assortment of pastries and a fresh loaf of bread were waiting for me on the kitchen counter. In the refrigerator were pitchers of juice and milk, butter, cream, assorted beverages, jams, and jellies. I felt right at home.
Spices and basic cooking needs are provided. It was easy to prepare meals. The Three Tree Point area is beautiful with lots of wooded areas to explore. You can also take a brisk walk down to the beach.
I stay at Three Tree Point B&B whenever I’m in Seattle and need a place to stay. Highly recommend.

Penny goes way and beyond to make sure your stay at her bed & breakfast is a pleasurable and comfortable experience. She personally welcomes you when you check in and she makes sure you have what you need. There is a small beach with in 5 minutes from her home. And there are some nice walks around the neighborhood. The location is very safe and has some incredible water views . There is free parking at her driveway. There are plenty of provisions for breakfast and drinks during your stay. . The unit had a super comfortable king size bed. And the place was super clean and very spacious. . Overall it was a great experience and we would do it again.

Exactly what we needed— a comfortable retreat with a beautiful view. We spent five nights pretending the cottage was our own while we visited friends and the sites in Seattle, an easy 20+ minute drive away. Penny was a fantastic host, stocking the cottage with everything we would need from excellent local coffee to fresh eggs, fruit, pastries and anything for a home cooked breakfast. Loved the view of Mt. Rainier from our private outdoor space and the bedroom. A minor plumbing snafu was handled immediately. Local restaurant Rex’s were spot on… 909 Coffee and Wine was so good we had dinner there twice (instead of heading to the city.) We hope to get back to Seattle from the east coast and we will absolutely stay here next time.

My husband and I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts through the years, and as he said, "this one is in a league of its own". The location is in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, and the view is spectacular! On a clear day, you can see Mt. Rainier in the distance, over Puget Sound. The B&B is a short, although rather steep, walk to the water, and is a short drive to numerous shops and restaurants. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The decor is rather eclectic, and being a traditional New Englander, I describe it as having a "California vibe". It is clean, has all of the needed amenities, and a very comfortable king size bed. Although the B&B is only a 10 minute drive to the airport, it is very quiet. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG STAYING HERE! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

This last Thanksgiving my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Penny and Doug Whisler’s Three Tree Point B&B in Seattle, WA. We stayed in their cozy, very clean cottage with a beautiful view of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. The cottage has everything you could ask for including a gas fireplace and full kitchen where I was able to prepare side dishes for Thanksgiving dinner with our family who lives there. The cottage is beautifully decorated and Penny provided us with fresh baked goods, fresh eggs, fruit, cereals, cheese, coffee, milk and more. This is the second time we’ve stayed in the cottage. If you’re planning a trip to Seattle, this is the perfect place to stay!

In the cottage, throughout the bedroom and living room/kitchen, we felt like we were outside the whole time we were inside. The large windows in all the rooms open up to water and mountain views. On arrival, it was stocked with an assortment of food which permitted the making a full breakfasts. I so preferred this to a BnB where there is a constrained time and place for breakfast. The snacks and pasties were good - like, really good. Furniture and bed are comfortable. The cottage has a small balcony for its own use that opens up to the mountain/water. There is an additional seating area immediately outside the cottage front door that has different views and is public. No one came to use it though - while we were in the cottage anyway. It has a stand up shower, no tub, which we prefer. The heat and air were controlled by a remote, very nice. The hot tub is for all to enjoy and has spectacular vantage point overlooking the water. We were able to use it each evening without waiting for others - luck of the draw who the other guests are I think. It's an easy drive into town, add a few minutes during rush hour. Definitely will stay here next time we're in town.

My husband and I spent two delightful days at Three Tree Point BnB. Our visit started with a warm greeting from Penny, one of the owners. The property was more spectacular than we expected. The views from our rooms of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier were breathtaking! All of the rooms were tastefully decorated and pleasing to the eye. And, what a delight to us when we opened the refrigerator to find all we needed for snacks and a homemade breakfast. We enjoyed walking to the local Store/restaurant for a delicious sandwich, the quaint downtown area, and strolling along the beach. Both evenings we relaxed on our Patio with a glass of wine. The HotTub looked appealing, but we did not have time to enjoy it. Our next stay will be for more than two days. This was a Special Fine. As a former BnB owner, I would not hesitate to rate this BnB 5 Stars! There is nothing I would change.

Honestly we never even thought about walking down to the water, it was winter and the hot tub was calling. There is easy access to the beach nearby, but the B&B is on the hill so I would drive.
"Parking was easy, tricky finding the cottage so I recommend driving the twisty roads by day .
I also would shop for groceries once and not have to go into town many times."
