My daughter stayed in this hotel and she checked out this morning. With her was a stuffed animal dog she has had for 21 years---very special to her but apparently not so to the Midway Inn cleaning staff. Instead of putting the dog in lost and found and contacting my daughter or myself----they had both of our phone numbers, they threw him into the dumpster. A friend of my daughter's got to the hotel before my husband and daughter did and had to go dumpster searching for this beloved memento. I shall tell everyone never, ever deal with the Midway Inn. They believe that your belongings are trash not even worth contacting you about.

The price was right to stay here, but my teen's eyes got wide when we entered the lobby and she begged to go elsewhere. We did stay the night but I won't do so again. Building hosts a lot of questionable folk - one step up from homeless? - who were loud, smelly and could have been drunk. We did not feel comfortable in the lobby/breakfast area with them, or in the hallway where they were talking in loud voices. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, chemical-tasting waffles, and muffins I had to remind the employee to bring out (he took forever - was cutting them into quarters). Small but clean room.

I stayed at this hotel for a little over a month while waiting for my home to be ready, the hotel offers an awesome extended stay rate. The staff is excellent, go above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth and as comfortable as possible. Delicious waffles as part of the free continental breakfast and the kitchenette was convenient so we didn't have to eat out every day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival, staff was friendly and great. They had upgraded me to a premium kitchenette upon request for a very good price. Room was very clean, housekeepers gave great service, i stayed at the hotel for a week. I would definitely stay here again when i come back to the area. The waffles are also Amazing with a hint of vanilla!!!

Had we not paid in advance for the 2 nights we were there we would have walked out & gone elsewhere. I have stayed at this hotel several times but it was a long time ago. Apparently this side of Bremerton is experiencing a downturn and this hotel is no exception. There was an odd odor in the lobby and the hallways smelled like smoke. My son saw cigarette butts laying at the top of the stairwell, so apparently people sat in the stairwell instead of going outside to smoke. We were charged $10 for the 3rd person in our room but there were only 2 towels in the room (normally there are 4 at other hotels we stay at). I sent our son down to the front desk to get extra towels (he's 16 & almost 6' tall). He was questioned by the desk clerk & and only given 1 additional towel. There were sketchy characters loitering around the property, which we believe were living there, as they apparently offer long-term residence as well now. There were crumbs under the bed and it was obvious the far side of the room hadn't been vacuumed very well, if at all, for quite some time. I was very glad I didn't have small children with me! The free wi-fi was horrible. The next morning we left for the day. When we returned the beds were not made, but there were 2 fresh towels. Clearly someone had come in our room and left the towels, but no other housekeeping duties were done. When I went downstairs to again ask for extra towels I asked about the lack of bed-making & was told the girls mom wasn't there that day so that sometimes happens. If we were going to stay another night they would surely make the beds the next day. Umm, no thanks, we aren't staying a minute more than we have to! We did not even look at the free continental breakfast items, so no comment there.

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Owner happened to be on site when I arrived and so I met her and she is a lovely friendly lady. The free world to worked great and I enjoyed the nice breakfast offering. Will stay here again when on this side of the water. Recommend it highly.

Great deal, more than was expecting. Very friendly staff, nice room, and good breakfast. Didn't expect that much since I have paid more money to stay in hotels that were not any nicer. Would definitely stay at Midway if I ever visit Bremerton again.

We traveled to Bremerton for a family emergency. We didn't realize there was a festival going on in Bremerton, so every other motel was full within a twenty mile radius. We called over a dozen motels, and this motel was the only one with rooms (I can see why). But it was 2am by the time we pulled up at this motel, and we had been awake over 24 hours, so closed our eyes and paid the $100 for a room. If we had to do it over, we would sleep in our car. It is dark and dingy and the halls are scarred and carpet filthy. My husband opened the door to our room and immediately started sneezing. After being in the room for a few minutes, I was sneezing, myself. We have never had this reaction anywhere before. The carpet was stained and filthy. It looked like the last time it had been remodeled was probably in the 1970s. The lamp was so old and brittle and broken. The white sheets had stains. The bathroom was gross. And neither of us wanted to shower in the tub. We didn't bother to try the breakfast because the place was so old and dirty, we didn't care to eat there. The Only good thing about the motel is the receptionist was friendly... Though she insisted on maying photocopies!! Of both my husbands and my drivers licenses... Which no other motel has ever done with us. I am shocked to see the glowing reviews on here... But many of them from people that only have only created One review, so that is suspicious. Again, if we had to do it over, we would have slept in our car. At least our car wasn't as filthy and didn't cause us sneezing fits.

I stayed here for a few days while it was 90+ degrees since they have A/C. I had a standard room which is all i needed since it was just me. It was an average room with exceptional customer service and housekeeping! Housekeeping was good and thorough each day they cleaned my room. Breakfast was complete with a huge waffle each day!!

No one was at the front desk when we arrived and then we saw a sign to dial zero on the house phone and someone would help. She came pretty quickly. They had a very nice little refrigerator with a big freezer. You got two cups of coffee in your room and then had to go downstairs for it. The chair arms were a little worn and the sheets had holes and stains on them. We called the front desk and she brought up some sheets and my husband helped her remake the bed. Her response was “these are old sheets; they belong in a smoking room.” I had booked through Orbitz and she didn’t have my reservation. It took a lot of work on her part to get ahold of Orbitz and verify my reservation, which I had an e-mail confirmation I showed her. Her response was to never go through one of these services - that calling the hotel will always give you a better price and she would have given us $8 off per night or $75/night. It was a little condescending. There were a number of transient people at the hotel, which made me feel uncomfortable and sad to hear their stories of not having a home.
