Detailed Reviews
We stayed at this hotel during a trip to Bremerton. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The bed & pillows were a little too firm for me (but my husband was very comfortable!) I feel that there could have been more options for the breakfast....but the waffles were tasty! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

All the good reviews are true. This place is really old. It is clean to a certain extent. The staff are friendly. The free wifi and hbo are plusses. Good shower clean bathroom. All important stuff
We felt all of the extra
Stuff in the rooms had probably been purchased at auction and pretended that did not extend to the bed. The carpets are so old they are thin and appear to be filthy.
At best i give five stars to this one star hotel.

Arrived very late at night and with no luggage (airline had "misplaced"). Staff was friendly and most helpful. Hotel is centrally located in Kitsap County with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Free breakfast was great as was the unlimited coffee/tea in the lobby. Rooms were small but cozy. What this hotel might have lacked in "modern" amenities was made up for with cleanliness and friendliness -- Cleanest rooms I've seen in a long time. DVD player, cable TV and in-room hi-speed internet provided me all the amenities I needed. My only complaint was the sink is located outside the bathroom/shower (I don't know if this layout is the same in all rooms) which meant I almost always woke the Mrs. when I rose early to shower/shave. All in all, a great stay. Will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Midway Inn in Bremerton, finding it to be both cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is remarkable to say the least, and they recently added warm soup in the lobby with freshed baked cookies on the weekends. The rooms were very clean and offered extra nice sheets and big fluffy towels. The complimentary High speed internet was an added bonus. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the value and guest service for the value. I would highly recommend anyone to try this hotel. It was a great trip.

I spent the weekend at the Midway Inn, in Bremerton WA. while visiting family in the area. I must say this small hotel supplies some ammenities that many of the larger chain hotels do not offer. The breakfast included a large varity of choices. They even sreve warm soup in the lobby for those cool winter evenings. I would have stayed longer and will stay there when I visit every time.

We traveled to Bremerton for a family emergency. We didn't realize there was a festival going on in Bremerton, so every other motel was full within a twenty mile radius. We called over a dozen motels, and this motel was the only one with rooms (I can see why).
But it was 2am by the time we pulled up at this motel, and we had been awake over 24 hours, so closed our eyes and paid the $100 for a room.
If we had to do it over, we would sleep in our car.
It is dark and dingy and the halls are scarred and carpet filthy. My husband opened the door to our room and immediately started sneezing. After being in the room for a few minutes, I was sneezing, myself. We have never had this reaction anywhere before.
The carpet was stained and filthy. It looked like the last time it had been remodeled was probably in the 1970s. The lamp was so old and brittle and broken. The white sheets had stains. The bathroom was gross. And neither of us wanted to shower in the tub.
We didn't bother to try the breakfast because the place was so old and dirty, we didn't care to eat there.
The Only good thing about the motel is the receptionist was friendly... Though she insisted on maying photocopies!! Of both my husbands and my drivers licenses... Which no other motel has ever done with us.
I am shocked to see the glowing reviews on here... But many of them from people that only have only created One review, so that is suspicious.
Again, if we had to do it over, we would have slept in our car. At least our car wasn't as filthy and didn't cause us sneezing fits.

I booked a room at this hotel not knowing the area or the quality of the hotel...until I arrived. The front desk was reasonably clean but nothing to brag about. The first impression was that this hotel felt like a small step above Motel 8. It felt like a 1/2-star hotel. The receptionist was reasonably courteous and accommodating Once I settled in the room, I realized how bad housing keeping it was at this hotel. After bringing it to the attention of the front desk, they switched room for me, but the new room had other sanitation issues. The management was unreachable at the time. The next day I finally got a hold of a "manager", but his English was so poor, not much I could communicate with him. He was a Korean. And I didn't speak or understand Korean! The parkinglot was the only thing that was considered acceptable at this hotel. The "free breakfast" was a joke! It's there only so they can claim "free breakfast" on the ads. A couple of stale bananas, some very bad muffins, cheap coffee, and cheap fruit drinks. I had better experience camping out at a campground.

My daughter stayed in this hotel and she checked out this morning. With her was a stuffed animal dog she has had for 21 years---very special to her but apparently not so to the Midway Inn cleaning staff. Instead of putting the dog in lost and found and contacting my daughter or myself----they had both of our phone numbers, they threw him into the dumpster. A friend of my daughter's got to the hotel before my husband and daughter did and had to go dumpster searching for this beloved memento. I shall tell everyone never, ever deal with the Midway Inn. They believe that your belongings are trash not even worth contacting you about.

Upon arrival, staff was friendly and great. They had upgraded me to a premium kitchenette upon request for a very good price. Room was very clean, housekeepers gave great service, i stayed at the hotel for a week. I would definitely stay here again when i come back to the area. The waffles are also Amazing with a hint of vanilla!!!

There are not many options of places to stay in Bremerton, WA, Midway Inn is an older hotel, but kept very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you dont like cheap chain hotels, this a good place to stay because its privately owned and treated with care. I have children and this a good place to stay if you do, get the kitchentte room. Good Breakfast, good coffee!
