We stayed here for an event we were attending at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. There are much nicer hotels closer to the fairgrounds. We expected this hotel to be older, but just because it is old doesn't mean it has to be filthy and poorly maintained. The hallways were smelly and dirty. Thankfully, the room smelled ok, but it was filthy dirty. The bathtub, which we chose not to use, was old and stained. There was visible hair and dirt at the base of the toilet. The window was disgusting. It looked like something milky/white was splashed all over the inside of the window, or maybe it could have been mold. All the vents in the room were dirty. Supposedly, the room was smoke free, however there were cigarette burns on the bedspreads. The lady when we checked in wasn't rude, but she certainly wasn't friendly, and there's a sign in the office reminding employees that they are being monitored. We were woken up bright and early in the morning by a woman yelling profanities in the hallway. Needless to say, we were ready to pack up and leave ASAP, anyway. It's a sketchy place. Trust all the negative reviews! Do not be deceived by the website pictures

Decent experience. Great location near dennys and Dairy Queen. Washer and dryer look broken. Very expensive to wash and dry clothes. Inside room look nice. Bathroom looks nice. The hallways are long and strangely drop at a certain point.

I stayed here for Labor Day weekend 2022 while visiting family. The front desk agent was on a personal call during the entire check in process and didn’t really speak to us at all. When we got to the room, it smelled like cigarette smoke and the smoke detector had been removed and was sitting on the tv stand. There was hair on the bathroom walls from the previous guest and dirty towels. I checked the bedding and there was dried blood and urine on the mattress cover on one bed and dried urine on the other. I asked the front desk to change it, and it did not get changed until almost the night before we left. None of the outlets in the room worked either other than the one for the tv and fridge. I asked to speak to management multiple times, and was told they will not be contacted and could handle this upon their return after the long weekend. They denied us a refund to move hotels, didn’t even offer to let us move rooms…. I would never stay here again. I’m waiting to hear back from management, but contacted corporate because this was so bad.

A great clean room, comfy beds, good security. Enjoyed the breakfast and Blackberries growing on the property. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. I will definitely recommend the property to anyone.

A last resort stay…. Health concerns and questionable personalities commonplace around hotel. This is usually the last place available near Bremerton at a government rate. If you have business at the shipyard and need to stay close, its better than nothing but I would absolutely not recommend for families. Highly recommend booking your hotel for Bremerton business months in advance so that you can stay somewhere nicer. Mid trip I find that nothing nearby has availability for under $300/night, so I’m probably stuck… The front desk staff was always friendly. Zero issues with them. The facilities however are quite questionable. Cons: - Black mold in shower/tub. Caulking was missing and it was very easy to see the black mold growing behind the shower insert. - Fleas. Every night I had a few more bites on my ankles. I was wearing full fatigues, boots, and chigger-proof ankle guards at work, so I am convinced these bites were happening in my room. After a few days, I finally spotted a few jumping around. They are hard to see with all the dark decor, but definitely fleas. - No maid service? I stayed here a week so far and my room hasn’t been cleaned once. Did they forget it was occupied? - Mediocre cleanliness of interior surfaces upon checkin. I bought disinfecting wipes and cleaned everything myself. - Stale odor in hallway and rooms that never dissipated. I bought an air freshener for my room, which helped cover up the smell a little. - Depending on your mobile provider you might not have celular service. T-Mobile = bad. Verizon = okay. - Questionable personalities. It was very common to see a person sitting just outside the hotel talking loudly to themselves for hours. No they were not on the phone. I didn’t see hotel staff react to this so I wonder if they were also tenants. Common police activity in adjacent parking lots at night too. - All the room furniture had worn off finishes. Almost makes you wonder if they got it free from another hotel throwing it away. - Bed sheets had holes from cigarette burns. Pros: - Mini-fridge worked well. I had to defrost it when I checked in, but after that no issues. - Microwave - Single cup coffee maker in room. - Cable worked well - Wi-Fi worked. I had to get a few code from the front desk everyday and it was slow, but it was free and worked. - Bed mattress was not bad, sheets were very cheap and barely fit the mattress. If it had been more than one person, the fitted sheet probably would have come off the bed. - Complimentary breakfast was simple but convenient. Make your own waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, cereal, orange juice, etc. - Free parking - Literally right next to Denny’s. The service at this Denny’s location was excellent. - AC window unit was ancient but worked well.

The furniture in this property appeared to be scavenged from the local Thrift store. However, that is a slam to the thrift stores. Items like this are usually scrapped. The internet connection kept dropping out. Coffee in the lobby was empty. Breakfast was acceptable: waffles, yogurt, etc. Our sheets were torn or had burn holes. It looked as if they had tried to update the bathroom, but it was either an inexperienced worker or a H/A'd rush job.

My room was Terrible !!!!!!! The bathroom especially The tub was stained , there were stains on the vanity ( looked like burns ) the toilet seat was marked and chipped , the hair dryer (although it worked not much heat ) was broken on part of it . the leather chair by the desk was ripped and the leather was coming off at the seams. No one cleaned my room or brought fresh towels as I Did not know you had to let the desk know if you wanted cleaning , It was not explained to me at check in and I found no note in the room about that . When I went to breakfast one morning they did not have cups for juice and were out of napkins, when asked the person did not have a clue where to find any of these items. DEFINITELY will never stay there again and will tell my friend not to stay there.

Not very happy with this hotel at all. Only stayed so long because next step was the the Baymont and was about $40 more a night, so not much choice. First stopped by about 2:00 PM and asked to see the rooms and told they were all dirty, so I mentioned staying for 2 weeks and told weekends were all booked up. I think her name was Aleshia (Only one who brings her dog to work) So about 15 minutes latter my boss books this on Priceline and when go back in there was another person at front desk who checked me in and had clean rooms. Latter I asked about availability and told lots of space. Could Alisha (one who brings do to work) be too lazy so she chases off customers to get out of work? This place is run down and dirty. I was here for 2 weeks the entry rug was very dirt when got here and never got cleaned, saw then once with a dust mop in the hallway but never touched the rug. Finish on bathtub totally worn off and desk chair also worn out. This rug is just inside the entrance at the hotel. Outside is full of cigarette buts and garbage all over, though did notice they picked up garbage once in 2 weeks but by the doors is full of cigarette butts that no one cleans up. Even one front desk clerk told me they don't clean up outside very often. Smoking next to the doors is also a violation of state law everywhere as I am sure you know. House Keeping was a joke, what house keeping? I was there for 2 weeks and got housekeeping once. I had to ask like 5 times to get house keeping also then they did a poor job. Refrigerator did not work very good and freezer did not work at all, yes reported this but nothing was ever done. When first checked in there was no remote, eventually got one but on/off did not work so had to go to TV every time you wanted to turn it on or off. They say breakfast is until 9:00 but 3 times went down and 8:30 and was closed. First time I opened door and went in just wanted cereal but she came in chased me out and said she had to close it early. Breakfast room was a mess waffle bladder cups 1/2 full laying around and bladder all over. Even the garbage is left to overflow, rarely did I see any banana's either. I think Alisha (one who brings dog to work and works days) was just being lazy and did not want to watch it. Lets call her lazy woman. She even told me the Manager is the owner and doesn't do anything so they do what they want and it shows. Bed was very soft and 2 weeks latter mattress was totally shot, get too far off on side and have to be carefully not to fall off. I know this is a franchise but don't they have standards they have to follow? Like I said only stayed there that long because could not afford to stay at the Baymont as was like $40 a night more and that was not in the budget.
