Lake Pleasant Rv is the closest to Seattle so we stayed there while visiting relatives. Mostly extended stay, but very well maintained with a hedgerow separating the sites, The sites were very close but the separation helped a lot. Concrete level pads. Good setting. Close to a safeway. We, along with others, were required to move to another site midway through our stay. Seems to be some confusion with booking of short term stays with extended stays.

Pleasant Lake RV Park is the 71st stop for us and we stayed for 14 night – we really liked this park. Very convenient to 405/5 and only 15 miles north of Seattle with a great layout around two lakes. About an hour and a half from our arrival, we received a call from the park indicating there was an issue with our site and quickly worked with us to resolve it. The office staff/camp hosts were awesome, especially Toni. The inner roads and pads were paved (a plus for a rainy area) and were decently spaced with mature privacy hedges between sites. But for many of the spaces, you will need blocks to level out. The longer term resident spaces are well kept. They have excellent walking trails around the park and the most reasonable cost for laundry. You are 2 miles from the highway and the main road quiets down after 9 am so you feel tucked away in the woods – be prepared for many geese and ducks depending on the time of year. But there is a Safeway with gasoline and a small strip mall just across the street. The WiFi is hit or miss. For connectivity WiFi 3.6 down/5.2 up; Verizon 85.7 down/7.4 up; T-Mobile 19.4 down/4.6 up. The WiFi struggles for basic social media and email – that is the only negative I have.

Great design, grass and trees at every site.
"Lake" very large pond with fish, ducks, geese, bullfrogs. Several individual restrooms with showers. Two easy hiking trails. Beautifully maintained. HOWEVER, wifi is too weak to handle peak load times,. and cable TV is pretty much worthless.

We stayed at this park for about a week as we had some work to do in Seattle for that time. While there are many good things about this park, which others have talked about, there was one thing that will likely keep us from staying here again. The geese and all their droppings. At least in our area of the park, it was very bad. Goose poop in the grass, on the site pad, in the roads. We had to watch where we stepped all the time which made being outside less than pleasant.

While the park is well aware of this problem and has a truck that pulls a tank of water around with someone standing in the back of the truck with a hose trying to pressure wash the poop away, unless a site is empty they don’t do a very good job of cleaning it off your site. And then you have wet goose poop on your site.

Some of the longer term RVers staying there have put up pens to keep the geese at bay and/or have their own pressure washer to keep their site more tidy and useable.

While it’s laudable that the park is a designated wildlife sanctuary, that many geese and their associated mess aren’t really a great match with RVers.

Truly an outstanding park in an extraordinary setting. Many of the spaces around the central lake are permanent renters, but don't let that deter you. All spaces are level and paved, and easy access. The park is very convenient to I-405, and also not too far east of I-5. There is a large Safeway grocery store in a strip mall across the street from the park, and easily within walking distance.

So far, in all of our RV travels, we haven't found a perfect RV park. But this one is close. Yes, the sites are a bit close together but they did a great job adding hedges for privacy. Yes, there are lots of geese that poop EVERYWHERE but getting the wildlife means getting the mess.

The wifi is strong, the laundry is cheap, the showers are clean. The park is very well taken care of and the walking trail around the park is a wonderful addition.

It's close to a grocery store and Seattle for excursions.

We would definitely recommend this place to others.

1 night stay, Not a regular lake, geese everywhere. Our lake front was near the end and not a good view. Sites 3-14 and 82-151 best waterfront. Sites 117-121 park your RV sideways. No fires allowed, bathrooms can be a distance away depending on where you are in park. Nice staff, Safeway at entrance.

Lake Pleasant RV Park is a wonderful, quiet find in the center of a very busy area.
This is a well established and well-maintained Park.
The Sites circle around two small lakes and are a combination of back-ins and pull-thrus.
The sites are well leveled and paved with good services.
The Park has developed their own hiking trails, which circle around the outside of the Park.
You can pass an amazing amount of time watching the local ducks and geese, both in the lakes and on the Park roadways.
There is a shopping mall within walking distance and all services are a short drive away.

This place is absolutely FANTASTIC. We are locals but new to RVing and made a reservation here to shake out the new/used rig. Toni was very responsive and set us up with a great spot overlooking the lake. We had issues after one night (our own issues, not due to the park) and had to cut our trip short. Toni was so gracious and made it right for us on our second visit a month later. Again with a gorgeous spot! We watched a blue heron fish right in front of us and all park goers were friendly. Make sure to hit the trails that go up and around the park - they are lovely with many birds. Thanks to all at Lake Pleasant RV Park - we will be back!
