Not sure if they're low staffed or not, but it seems like they're having an issue keeping up with demand. My first stay in early 2021 was great, my most recent stay not so much. I cant say I'll be back or not. The AC in our room didnt work, so the windows had to remain open the whole time, the conditioner provided had already been used, keys to our room were given to other guests during our stay (luckily we were there when they entered the room!), and pieces/instructions were missing for the game we checked out. All of this happened after we had to wait almost 2 hours after check in to get our room because it "wasn't ready yet".

Overall A nice relaxing experience, the room though a bit pricey, but was nice, comfortable and clean, the hotel itself is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy some down time. The only detractor was Packers Restaurant and the long wait time and the limited menu available (only dinner was served). One more thing, no sit down breakfast was offered by the restaurant or the hotel except for an expensive continental breakfast which considering the cost of the room could have been offered for free.

My family and I spent a part of our vacation in this resort in July 2021.... and we loved it. Even my kids: 19, 17, and 13 were talking about how charming this resort is. Here are some thoughts: Resort - This is a quiet & out-of-the-way resort with a lot of charm, wonderful scenery, and unbelievable sunsets. You can see the Canadian border and the near by Canadian towns from the beach. Activities - You can either be very active, inactive, or anything in the middle. We golfed, Kayaked, used the pool, played pool, just walked around. Nightly activities are not much. This is a place to rise early and sleep early! Rooms - Rooms are rustic, charming and wonderful. good size. I recommend a water-facing room, if possible. Makes all the difference. Staff - Staff are very helpful and friendly, and will provide a lot of suggestions and recommendations. Food - There is a café and a restaurant/bar in the hotel - and small cafe in the Marina next door. So the hotel food could get a bit redundant after a day or two. There are some options in downtown Blaine (a few miles away). There's a great Mexican food shack (next to Starbucks) which we recommend for lunch. Canadian border was closed when we were there, but you could find a lot of restaurants on the Canadian side which is only a few minutes beyond the border. All-in-All: Yes! Certainly a great place to get away from it all and simply relax.

A wonderful resort so close to canada that you can see it! It's right along the water with amazing sunset views. Low tide is a cool experience as the waters around the hotel are effected heavily by high and low tides.

The area is beautiful and the resort looks nice from the outside. Lots of kids made it a bit less relaxing with all the noise, but it’s summer and I can’t fault kids for playing. My biggest gripe is the lack of hot water. We got massages (mediocre), and the spa facilities were not that nice—also the steam room and sauna were closed, which we weren’t informed of at booking or arrival—so we went to shower in our room, only to find there was no hot water. Called guest services and they said just run the sink and shower at full and flush the toilet a few times and that should bring up some hot water. She also said ‘it’s an old building and everyone showers at once’ so that’s why we didn’t have hot water. Did that and got some tepid water in the sink but ended up with an ice cold shower. Tried twice more at different times that day and had no hot water any of the times. Called again and maintenance was sent up—they did the exact same thing except they flushed probably 10 times, and then said hot water is up. Took a shower and had about 5 minutes of tepid water before it was gone again. I find a lack of hot water at a resort completely unacceptable and would not recommend staying here because of it. I’ve since spoken with other who had the same experience over the years, so this is clearly a known and longstanding issue that they don’t intend to actually fix. Also expect a lot of noise of Friday/Saturday nights as it seems it’s a party spot for college students to pile 10+ people into one room…
