We came out for our daughter’s golf tournament here at the Semiahmoo Golf Resort. It’s a hidden gem. The resort is so nice. Accommodation and the staff here were great. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Views here are so so beautiful. Thank you!
Stayed here for two nights at a business conference. Overall, the hotel is well run. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and the pillows supportive. Every member of the staff I interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. Meals were well done and presented. If there was one thing that could be improved, it's unfortunate that there is only one elevator location, which isn't really convenient to all of the hotel's rooms. Very long walk from my room to the elevator, then another long walk from elevator back to the meeting rooms.
This was a great vacation for families. The pool was warm and huge. My kids loved biking, pickle ball, s’mores by the campfire at night, and playing Chess and pool table. The restaurant was a bit pricey but service was good.
I am not a fan of travelling when there is not a beach and sun guaranteed. I journeyed to Semiahmoo for a conference and was anxious about being in cold weather in March on the border of Canada. All of my hesitance was met with the most fabulous of welcomes from the front desk and arrival to the property. The setting mirrors a postcard with endless waterviews stretching in to the distance and accented by the glimmering city lights nearby. The lobby was cozy and welcoming and the hot cocoa cart was a fun surprise. The staff were friendly and all smiles. I was given an overview of the property and was on my way. The room was crisp and attention to detail was everywhere I looked. The bed was THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed I have ever slept in. I attended my conference and again was blown away by the gracious staff that worked tirelessly to attend to every need. The entire stay changed my thoughts on where I will stay for my next weekend getaway. I look forward to coming back and enjoying the firepit areas, pool, and some time at the spa! …
The people of Semiahmoo Resort, especially the front desk, went above and beyond our expectations. I suggest anyone that is looking for a romantic getaway give this place a go. Everything from the accommodations to the food were amazing.
Semiahmoo is a cute location, but we were pretty disappointed with communication from the staff and the availability of various amenities. The pool heater broke early in our stay. We were offered a "Signature Welcome Amenity" for sharing our trip on social and it took two requests for us to actually get it. They seemed surprised that we were asking for it and hastily threw together a bag with a couple stickers, a bag of trail mix, and we were told we could grab a drink from the fridge. The "in room" breakfast showed enough additional fees and gratuities tacked on that it was $27 a person. For an assortment of pastries and teas (no coffee, no meat, no eggs, etc.) We were given a menu for Packers breakfast to compare against that was just completely inaccurate. It indicated there would be things like an $8 breakfast buffet. They provide a neat texting service so you can ask questions. However, when I asked about the spa access or access to golf practice areas I was just given phone numbers to call those services directly. All in all, it's a neat place to visit and the rooms were comfy enough. But we went up to White Rock in Canada for at least one meal because the menu at Packer's just wasn't very extensive. The breakfast was surprisingly good however, and was cheaper than the "in room" breakfast. I'm sure it's more fun in the summer when more activities are ongoing, but during our stay it just felt confusing and a bit of a let down for the price. …
We had a fabulous time at the resort. The facilities were clean and well kept. The staff were all so nice and welcoming! The food was amazing in both the bar and restaurant. We also did wine tasting which was a special treat. The room had a fireplace and a view. We were part of an event so the conference rooms and catering were included in my review. If you get the chance to stay here do it. No need to leave the resort everything is at your fingertips. Walk on the beach, ride a bike, go to the spa. Relax and Enjoy! WE DID!
Location, location, location. What a fun place. Great views of the Canadian coastline and surrounding mountains. We loved that all the amenities are included in your stay including pickleball, kayak/paddle board and bicycles. Will definitely be going back during the summertime.
If you get a chance to do one of these mystery weekends, do it! So much fun! Resort was great, food was great, met so many other mystery fiends! I also made time to hit the spa and it was absolutely amazing!!
My husband and I are active seniors, who try to live a simple lifestyle, but do enjoy many of the finer things that Semiahmoo offers. We live in eastern Washington, where the throes of winter still linger and early Spring is giving hope on the west side of the state. This year Semiahmoo did not fail us. What we like: water views, beach time, cozy spaces with a view, the gym/hot tub/sauna, good food but many ways to cut costs. Semiahmoo is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. We would start our day with coffee and a newspaper, move on the the gym and hot tub. In the afternoon, we beachcombed, read, walked again and had dinner at Packers. Great food and we ate ightly. Summer at Semiahmoo is prime, but busy with guests and activity. Kids and dogs are welcome.
