I truly understand why this hotel is rated the #1 Bellingham hotel on Trip Advisor. Even if I’m totally happy with a mid-priced hotel, I never give a 5 star rating, but this hotel felt so high end, that I felt it deserved all 5 stars. As stated by others, the hotel is very clean, with a warm, welcoming staff. Some “extras” that you usually do not see in mid-prices hotels included glass dishes and real silverware in the dining area. I wished we could have taken advantage of the free drink and Happy Hour, too (a nice touch), but we were gone for that. There were many nice breakfast selections, including made to order omelettes. The “real” cooked oatmeal was yummy. There was also a water bottle filling station in the lobby.. The rooms have low flush toilets and there were refillable bottles for soap/shampoo. The fact that they pay attention to these climate friendly details is a big plus for me. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was beautiful, with a separate shower and tub. The towels were nice and thick, not worn thin as I’ve experienced in other hotels in this price range. I hope to see more Oxford hotels when we travel. If staying in Bellingham again, we will return to the Oxford Suites for sure.

This place checks all the boxes. Just go...you wont be disappointed. Compared to hotels in the area and even right on that road; its not even close. The value proposition is far better. Clean great room, free drink and appy at night, free breakfast, hotel is up and away from road noise and wonderful smiling service.

I needed a hotel on the way home from seeing Taylor Swift in Vancouver; everything was insanely expensive in Vancouver, and unfortunately I did not book the hotel I had planned on staying at in Surrey ahead of time and it was all booked up by the time I arrived. Unfortunately that left me with the option of driving all the way to Bellingham unless I wanted to stay in a motel (which I very much did not). I called around, and Oxford Suites had two rooms left at a decent price. The person working the front desk was super friendly despite it being 1 AM and kindly set aside a room for me while I drove through the border.
When I arrived, he continued to be super friendly and got me checked in quickly. I was so pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the room was. I've had experiences in the past where suites were not designed well, and things were not quite located where you would expect them or in spots that were inconvenient. Seems like a low bar, but every time I went to look for something (e.g. tea, kettle, fridge, towel, lightswitch), it was where I expected it to be. I ended up in an ADA accessible room, and the shower was the perfect ending to my very long night in addition to the really tasty tea that was in the room.
The bed and pillows were both so comfortable, and the temp of the room stayed perfect (again, low bar, but I've had so many negative experiences in the past). My one and only complaint was that I was in a room that could be adjoined with the next room, and there was a gap under the connecting doors. Therefore, there was some sound transfer between rooms which made it feel a bit less private. However, I still slept like a baby with my earplugs in.
I was very impressed with breakfast. They made eggs, french toast, sausage, and gravy fresh. They did run out of yogurt and muffins by the time I got there which was a bummer, but I was still super happy with the breakfast I got. The coffee was decent as well!
The front desk staff in the morning was super friendly as well, and kindly allowed me to check out later. I appreciated the extra time to rest after getting in at 2:30 AM!
Despite being in the hotel for <12 hours, I had a very pleasant experience there and would absolutely stay again in the future.

This hotel has everything you need and more. The location is great, right next to the Macy’s entrance parking lot and a quick car ride from the airport. The theming of the hotel is beautiful and the nautical touches throughout really shows the attention to detail. The hotel is meticulously clean in a way that makes every area feel very inviting and luxurious, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service from all members of staff is so professional and very friendly. Rooms are a great size! Love the bathroom, lots of space for multiple people to get ready. Loved having a separate shower and bath, toilet room was nice for privacy. Breakfast is delicious with lots of variety and there was plenty all through breakfast hours, even up to the end. Free drink tickets at check in plus snack, the Complementary airport shuttle, flexible and affordable late check out options, and more really added so much value to our stay at Oxford & Suites

Very clean hotel, nicely decorated and it seemed fairly new. The staff at the front desk greeted me warmly by name and made sure all of our needs were met. The location couldn't be better if you are looking to be close to the Bellingham airport or the Canada border. We were very happy they offered a family suite with 3 queen beds and two bathrooms so that our family could stay together without booking two separate rooms. The town of Bellingham is lovely with great food choices as well. Everyone was so very friendly. We would definitely recommend!

Oxford Suites in Bellingham is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We have stayed in the hotel several times over the past two years and have always found the rooms to be very clean and the staff are very professional, helpful, and courteous. The hotel is exceptionally quiet, the breakfast is quite complete, and the evening social hour is great. And for those who want to get out of the hotel, there are several restaurants within walking distance and the Bellis Fair Mall is a short walk across the parking lot. All in all, a great place to stay in Bellingham.

We loved the large suites, extremely comfortable beds and bedding and large bathrooms with a separate toilet room. Well located and quiet. Staff were curious and helpful and breakfast was packed with protein and variety.

The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast buffet was tasty with made to order omelets on request. The bonus was the nighttime Bistro with a full bar and tasty meals at a very reasonable price. The facility was clean, the personnel friendly and it was easy to get to from the freeway.

We stayed for a month at the Oxford Suites in Bellingham and to a person, the staff were kind, helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were amazing: omelets made to order; the rooms were big, spotless and bright (big windows); the beds were more comfortable than at home; the nightly social hour allowed us to meet and make friends; the location was central. I honestly don't have a single complaint. I would go back in a heart beat. It was our home away from home.

This hotel is very nice especially for this price point and it's tucked back off the main road so it's more quiet and safe. I like that all the rooms have a separate soaking tub from the shower. The breakfast was really good and they even had breakfast sandwiches wrapped up for us to grab because we were in a hurry. They have a small restaurant on site so you don't have to leave for dinner if you don't want to.
