We loved staying here! The room was absolutely enormous and the bed was heaven. When we arrived they already had a cot (a pack-n-play/port a cot) set up in our room for our baby. The hotel is very well maintained, quiet, and in the very charming town of Fairhaven. Breakfast was fine - bagels, cereal, oats, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc.

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2016

Great location for hanging out in Fairhaven!! The staff were all very nice and took time to visit and answer questions. The room was immaculate, which is always important. We had a room with a view of the bay area, although the buildings seem like nothing to add to the view, we had the luck of being able to watch... More

I was looking for a non chain hotel because I am tired of them and what do I find? A gem! Talk about quaint this hotel has blended charm with modern convenience. The bed was good, the room is spacious, the area is fantastic and the staff warm and itelligent. I may bring my wife here.

We stayed here for four nights in September 2016 in a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor and bay. Would have been nice if there'd been a refrigerator in the room so that we could more easily have a cold drink after walking around the delightful Fairhaven district. Hotel staff were, without exception, warm and friendly and made us... More

My room faced the park across the street, in my opinion that was a better view than the water which was mostly warehouses and fishing nets. The room was very spacious, quiet, and kept up nicely. I requested a fridge and staff brought one to me.

The quality of the sheets is amazing! The suite includes a dining room, a fireplace, several tv's with cable, a large sunken Jacuzzi tub, WiFi and a comfortable living room area. Aside from the room, the hotel offers an excellent breakfast with waffles made to order and a cozy library where beverages are served all day. It is also conveniently... More

The staff is friendly; the location is perfect for shopping in Fairhaven, taking a walk along the bay or running/biking the inter urban; and the rooms are very large, comfortable and clean. Reason for four stars: At this price point breakfast could be a little more creative/local. (Pastured eggs from a local farm, cheese from a Whatcom County dairy, etc.).... More

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Inn after 3 nights in Vancouver. We had a free night before heading to Seattle so decided to stay in Fairhaven. It was a rewarding decision. The Fairhaven Village Inn is well located in the centre of the historic village of Fairhaven near Bellingham. Our room was clean, large and spacious. Continental... More

Stayed just one night while visiting Bellingham but would definitely recommend the Fairhaven Inn. Great location in the heart of Fairhaven village where there was so much going on -- interesting shops and a great bookstore, restaurants and brewpubs, walks along the water with historical markers, a lovely sense of community. Our room was large with a view of the... More

The inn is centrally located in Fairhaven. It was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly, the breakfast was good. Fairhaven is a lovely place to visit. The inn is across the street from the village green, great free family movies every sat evening. Lots of great places to eat or have a drink or shop in the village. Every thing... More
