We stayed here for my cousin's wedding - it's a very beautiful hotel with an excellent view of the water. However, it is a bit pricy. Parking is very safe here however, which I appreciated. They also have a very nice restaurant with a fantastic view of the bay.

The rooms are wonderful and great views of the bay. Window seat for reading, watching the passing boats or just a nap. Wonderful Spa, happy hour on the back patio was very refreshing. Close to Fairhaven and some great restaurants. The place to stay in Bellingham.

Because of the low value of the Canadian Dollar it has been well over a year since we have had a night in this hotel. In the past we have LOVED the hotel but I have been "moved" but not in a good way by the train noise and vibration..but because we love the hotel and restaurant and spa we...

Room was super, but bathroom was amazing! Spa like feel. Window seat with a view was a great place to have morning coffee. Desk staff was courteous and when I left my folder with all of our itenararies, they remembered who I was and the next time I came through the lobby they got them to me. Nice, free parking...

Everything from the moment you arrive here, to the moment you leave is about as good as it gets. Reception was excellent, with its own welcoming dog, who sadly was feeling a little unwell, having just seen the vet and been neutered! Open airy welcoming reception area with great views over the bay. Our room, number 309, a corner one,...

We had a lovely view of the San Juan Islands from our King bed room. There was a long window seat and I spent hours on it looking at the view, reading and doing needlework. Yes, the trains go by regularly, but the hotel warns you of this and provides ear plugs. I'm a very light sleeper and the trains...

Worth every penny. The food and sevice is amazing. You couldn't find a more relaxing and better spot for a sunset. My wife loved the spa and the wonderful people who worked there. We can't wait to go back.

This place has an amazing view of the San Juan Islands, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They have a nice restaurant and has outside seating. The foods very good and good pricing. I would definitely return to Chrysalis. Oh...the train only ran a couple time's while we were here and did not run during the night.

For a luxury accommodation costing over $200 a night, a room at The Chrysalis is comfortable enough and the staff are friendly enough. But when there is no complementary breakfast and the in-room snack-basket has a price-list with at least a 200% mark-up (often included as freebies at other luxury establishments), and when the walls are accoustically permeable to the...
