We were looking for a place to hang out over thanksgiving since we had no family plans this year. Always wanted to spend some time in Bellingham and this hotel had good reviews. I will add to the good reviews. The place is spotless, the sunset suite was spacious, the desk staff was courteous, the view was outstanding, the thanksgiving...

My husband and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Hotel Bellwether. It has a nice view, is in a central location, is very clean and has excellent staff. It was a great place for a get away. There were a few restaurants in walking distance as well as the marina and a park for walking. The staff was...

My son booked a standard room for my husband and me and happened to mention the visit was a celebration of my birthday. To our surprise, the management upgraded our stay to one of the premier suites. It was amazing. It was pretty; it was spacious and it was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the view and our long walk around...

Still a very efficient and pleasant hotel. On both occasions we had great views of the marina. Will definitely stay again. The continental breakfast continues to be very lacking As I mentioned in my previous post it is not a matter of cost but what is in on offer. Examples on one day only honey yoghourt was on the table...

I let them know it was my birthday, and it was a Sunday night. Still they, the very accommodating front desk staff, put us in a large splendid room with the amenities we liked : great view, king bed, hot tub that we finally fit in, and other nice things like a great Lounge with reasonable drinks and good Happy...

Very nice hotel, staff and location. Loved the jetted tub, the decor, and especially the staff for paying attention to our written requests when we made reservations online. I am chemically sensitive and sometimes have trouble staying in hotels because fragranced cleaners are often used. Upon my request, they prepared our room without fragrances, and it was just perfect for...

We have stayed here several times ( since our daughter married an American!). The hotel is quiet and elegant. The staff are very polite and attentive. The view over the bay is superb. They have a very progressive approach to pets and with a bit of notice can provide pet friendly rooms or suites. the surrounding area seems to be...

Dear CapitalD771, We love dogs at Hotel Bellwether and are pet friendly on our first and second floors! Bellingham's waterfront across the bay from Hotel Bellwether is undergoing rapid change at the moment and our city is very excited for this project's completion which will allow for more community waterfront space. This being said, there is no interference with the...

This was our first time staying at the Hotel Bellwether and we really enjoyed our stay. We went to check in and we're greeted by a friendly gentlemen at the desk. As we entered our room we noticed that everything was clean and inviting. The bed was fabulous, the sitting area with the fireplace was wonderful. The view of the...

We usually pick out a specific room in the hotels we stay in - usually something historic or suite-like. This time it was room 202, The Bellwether Suite. A stunning room with great views over the bay. Bed was wonderful. Big seating area. Almost like having a home away from home. Staff was great. The one little problem had nothing...

Dear abearfellow, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed our most spacious room - The Bellwether Suite! A landmark feature of Bellingham's working waterfront are the historic train tracks, which used to cross over the bay in the early part of the 19th century. Our hotel was constructed with thick walls, keeping this in mind. This being said, every now...
