The hotel is undergoing renovations and there is construction happening from 9-6pm. This was not mentioned on the Marriott website when we booked, nor communicated to us when we arrived to check-in. After all the noise reverberating throughout the floors, and we inquired what was happening, hotel staff was not proactive in offering any type of compensation until pressed. It was a disappointing stay and I would not be returning in the future.

The westin bellevue was one of the best hotels with a fantastic breakfast spread for elites. It's gotten progressively worse and as of August 1st, you only get a continental breakfast. I absolutely do not recommend this place anymore. They have clearly shown they do not care about elites.

This hotel is convenient to major highways. Further, the hotel has a minimalist decor. First impressions are positive. Valet Max greeted us enthusiastically. Check in staff - Ignacio and Matthew were quick to register us and provided great info on area restaurants. The room is nicely appointed although the bathroom is sorely in need of updating. The one disappointment we had was the Sunday brunch. With tip the charge for two was over $70. This is for a brunch which is similar to what you can have at Residence Inn for FREE. Choices were limited and service was lacking. Otherwise, the stay was a cut above average.

We stayed here for one night for a road trip through Washington state. I stayed at this hotel once when it first opened in 2005 when downtown Bellevue was much quieter and affordable, but haven’t been back since since the room and parking prices have skyrocketed. I used a free night certificate for my stay. I checked in on my app, so check-in was easy. The person helping me, Ignacio, was pleasant and professional. I had been upgraded to a corner suite, and he pointed out that it was the first room renovated on that floor, which I was glad to hear. The room was certainly large, clean, and matching the new decor I typically see in a Westin. When I booked, the website said there would be a sofabed, but there was not. Fortunately the sofa was big enough to accommodate my two teens. Bed was comfortable and WiFi was good. The bathroom is split so the two sinks are separate from the shower and toilet, which is helpful for those sharing. The toilet/shower section is designed oddly though as there is a half column that takes up a bunch of space, but I’m guessing it hides some sort of infrastructure like a chute or vent. The shower uses the exterior hotel windows so on a hot day, it feels like a sauna. I also felt the water didn’t get very hot. I did use the fitness center, which is nice and a good size. It has two Peloton bikes. We had buffet breakfast at the Cypress Lounge. Somewhat small selection, but good quality. Very expensive for what you get ($29 for adults and $12 for children) - must be focused on business accounts. Service was attentive. Location is very central, steps away to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Parking at this hotel is free on Friday and Saturday, which I knew in advance, because I would probably stayed somewhere else if I had to pay $32 for parking. Overall, I was very happy with my one night weekend stay. Fantastic and convenient location to enjoy what downtown Bellevue has to offer. Can be quite pricey, so I’m glad I was able to use my certificate.

Stayed for just 1 night in a newly refurbished 2 Queens room on the 16th floor. Check in was welcoming and informative. Parking was free on the weekend. The parking garage was good with decent sized spaces and well lit. The room was very nice and new. The quality of the bedding and sleep comfort was excellent. The AC was efficient and quiet. We had drinks in the bar and breakfast the following morning. The breakfast was very good, with a fresh to order omlette counter. The restaurant and bar staff that we encountered were all professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again, when in the area.

"Newly remodeled rooms" looked ok from the outside. The bed is comfortable. The closet smelled like an ashtray which is awesome when that's where your clothes have to be. The bathroom light is like turning on the sun so you have to pee in the dark or get a migraine to use the toilet. I could hear everything next door to me. The hotel is a great location and Truce spa is awesome. But I arrived on a sunday night to no room service. They suggested I order uber eats?!?!?!? You can't get a latte in the lobby just drip coffee. For the money I give it a 3. Not impressed. Oh last of all I don't want anyone in my room period. But someone was in my room every single day. I suppose to check on it and change the thermostat. Can't they change that remotely? When I put "do not disturb" my expectation is "do not enter" so WTH???

We stayed in a junior suite which, while huge, seemed very outdated, and judging by the stuffiness and dust as though it hadn’t been used for a while! Also, in the bathroom there was no bath, but only a small shower stuck in the corner. It was bizarre. However, the hotel is in the process of renovating rooms, and it is a lovely hotel in a good location, the restaurant is pretty good, and staff were very helpful and courteous. We’d visit again, only opting for a refurbished room!

The hotel itself is old unfortunately the room was not clean, there were dirty socks or underwear under the drawers. I didn't bother letting them know since we were only there for 1 night. One great thing is I stayed on NYE and around 2am next door is making a lot of adult noises along with their music, I let the Front Desk know and this was dealt with right away. But yes the walls are really thin, you can hear everything that is going on next door. You also get free parking on weekend which is a plus in Seattle as hotels charge crazy amount for parking. The stay was OK, service was OK, everything was just OK which unfortunately is not what you expect from a Westin hotel.

Located in the heart of the shopping district in one of the most affluent cities in the US, this hotel makes for a great location during the holiday season. You are steps away from great restaurants and right across the street from the Bellevue Galleria Mall. During the holiday season, this area also boast the local favorite Snowflake Lane which is a nightly 20 minute parade of princesses, drummer boys, Frosty, and even Santa. This parade is right in front of the hotel which street is closed on both directions and lined with families with small children. During our stay, checking was a breeze and the Front Desk friendly and professional. My Bonvoy Platinum Elite was immediately recognized and my suite upgrade approved. The room was a 1 bedroom with small living room and pull out couch great for little ones. The King bed was comfortable with crisp white linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a standard single sink with rain shower bathtub combo that includes shampoo and body wash. Although during our stay, the Vanity mirror did not work and there was no conditioner. Breakfast buffet is served until 1030am and includes eggs cooked to your preference, and served to you on your table when ready. Buffet selection includes chicken sausages, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, toasts, cereal, and juices. I recommend going there earlier since the restaurants tends to fill up closer to closing time. There is a large indoor heated pool on the 4th floor great for kids including a hot tub for adults. There is also a small gym on the same floor that includes free weights, universal equipment and treadmills. For those that want to be pampered, the Truce Spa is also available on the 4th floor. The one great benefit about this location is that everything is connected via a raised walkway located on the 2nd floor. You do not have to walk street level at all since sky bridges connect the hotel to the mall and to other hotels in the area. This makes everything conveniently accessible and available even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Tip: Use the sky bridge to walk to Starbucks across the street. Self parking is on the 5th floor which you do have to pay daily so make sure to let the Front Desk know during check in so they can give you a ticket to place on your dashboard. If you have little ones, I highly recommend staying here especially during the holidays. This also makes for a great staycation if you are from this area.
