This is a very convenient location if doing business at the Microsoft Advanta Campus. Just a 5 minute walk. Great hotel facility with great amenities such as an evening Managers Reception and made to order breakfasts.

Hotel's Favorite
The things you can count on with the Embassy Suites chain are roomy accommodations and a great breakfast. This Bellevue location was no exception. We were on the top floor and it was super quiet. The beds and bedding were excellent making for superb sleeping. The walk-in shower was large and spotless. The whole place was very clean and had multiple waste baskets which is convenient. It was a Thursday night which probably contributed to relatively low attendance at the Manager's Evening Reception but what's not to like about free snacks and beer, wine and cocktails. The breakfast spread was very good and made excellent by the cooked to order eggs and omelets. The front desk was friendly and fast. This location is not conducive to walking to area restaurants and there are many good ones relatively close. Taxi or a car service would be the best choice but we opted to eat at the onsite restaurant which was a satisfying if not gourmet experience.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to admit, we were not impressed whatsoever... Between myself, my sister and her family, my parents, and many friends, we have all stayed a night or two at this location over the years, and all looked forward to our mini getaways from Vancouver, BC., however this most recent visit was very disappointing. Managers Reception: the most exciting part of staying here (or *was*, I should say) was sitting in the atrium at the end of the day enjoying an abundance of snacks and free drinks. I can remember there being a wide variety of stuff to choose from (like 3 or 4 tables worth), to now only one tiny little table with some stale taco chips and veggies (we were really looking forward to the hot nacho cheese!!!). The drinks are still free so that’s a bonus. Cascade Grill: after enjoying a few beverages in the managers reception, we were obviously still hungry from the lack of food (ohh I see what they did there 🧐), so we thought we’d give this cute little onsite restaurant a try. Not the greatest choice! After we were seated, we waited for someone to come take our order.. and waited.. and waited. When our orders were finally taken, we noticed the table next to us, who got there after, had received their dinners. Apparently our order was deleted from the system. 30 minutes later, we finally received our food - overcooked macaroni noodles and cheese and okay fish and chips. Breakfast: so disorganized. There is a lot to choose from, however everything is placed in a small little room-thing, where everyone is bumping in to each other, going in all directions - there was no obvious flow. It was very overwhelming. A few years ago when we stayed here, again, the food was spread out on many tables and each type of breakfast (breads, fruits, etc.), had their own section. It didn’t feel as rushed. Overall, it seems like this hotel is going downhill and I hope more people who have once experienced how great it was, also share their disappointed feedback.

I sit on the sofa and the slope in the saggy cushion almost rolls me over. As I try to straighten myself, I realize I'm tantalizingly close to an old brown stain on the upholstery. Once upright, I use my fingernails on the grimy remote to tune the TV to CNN and watch the impeachment circus. An hour later as I head out to the gym I bend over next to the mirror to tie my shoe laces, I spy an old water bottle ans some fresh cookie crumbs under the stool by the dresser. There was a time when Embassy Suites had high standards. But now it looks like a brand in decline. I wish they would bring it back. But even the staff seemed resigned to a gloomy fate. The man at the front desk did not even look up from his facebook feed as I was leaving and had to ask him a question.
