We came out a few weeks ago with about 20 of us tent camping to go mountain biking. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Our youth had a wonderful time, even in the misty rain. A prefect place to Basecamp for RVing, mountain biking and to just enjoy some time away from home. We will be back.
First the pictures make the place look more spread out. The campsites are all on top of each other at most 10 feet apart some only 5 feet. The tent site was not even big enough for the tent, had gravel base so could not barely put in the stakes, and covered with straw so smelled like a barn. The site had a spot barely big enough to park and could not park trailer near site.
We made a reservation for three different families. We’ve never been here before but we’re excited to find something located close to the Tahuya orv park. The owners and caretakers we’re outstanding and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time and everything we needed. In the end we ended up getting snowed in for a couple extra days and our mini vacation became one of the best winter vacations ever. If you’re looking for an outstanding place to go but has access to dirtbike ATV and side-by-side trails this is the place to go
Great spot to take the RV to, electric and water hookup included. Easy to go riding right from the resort. Nice having showers and restrooms close. Firewood available is great also! Great price and super easy to just run out there for the weekend.
Their website says come unwind in quiet seclusion. When we went...it was nonstop ATVs running from morning until after 9 pm. Sometimes it was so loud we couldn't even hear each other at our own site. So, if you want to hear motors nonstop and watch kids on ATVs drive through your camp spot, this is the place for you. We had to leave a day early after we couldn't take it anymore.
We used the pull thru fifth site. It was great It was nice to have hook ups for once since we normally dry camp. Highly recommended for anyone. The owners are great and friendly can't wait to stay there again.
We enjoyed a microwave, refrigerator and Pellet Stove. Warm beds. Fresh Coffee. Great outdoor/tent kitchen to cook our food and clean our dishes with 'hot water' The shower was absolutely a treat in our "out house" Just close enough, or just far enough from town to be comfortable and enjoy the area and play tourist. We stayed there during the Shoulder Season, so we got the place to ourselves. Loved our Hosts, Dave and Amy. We could not stop sharing what a wonderful stay/place this "Glamping" hide-a-way is!!
