I had initially booked a 2 week stay at Island Country Inn as it was the only thing available in the very busy summer months on Bainbridge Island. After a few nights, we ended up moving to another hotel when a vacancy came up and were much more comfortable there. PROS: Location - great location and plenty of parking. You... More

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. However, could not get any hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast was a joke. They have a waffle iron but is only used on Saturday and Sunday. One cold cereal, one type of muffin, juice or coffee.

We were welcomed, off a very late ferry, to a comfortable, clean and quiet room. The bed was comfortable, if a little soft for our tastes. The breakfast was nicely laid out, and we enjoyed bagels and fruit. Island Country Inn is very reasonably priced.

There are few choice in Winslow on Bainbridge Island. There is this motel which has been there forever and a Best Western just down the street. The Best Western is the better of the two but even more expensive. Be aware of the fact that this moetel is NOT in downtoen Winslow by the ferry or the water. It is... More

When I checked in a had had a very trying day. Alyssa was there to greet me and made me feel very welcomed. It is not often that you come across someone in the hotel industry that can make you feel right at home the way she did. I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone mainly because of... More

Driving to Seattle but didn't want to fight the traffic and downtown area so decided to stay in Bainbridge so glad we did! This hotel was an easy walk to the ferry and the fare was a lot less than the parking in Seattle would have been. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Had waffles, yogurt, cereals for... After a little frustration with our priceline reservation and a last minute travel change, the wonderful people at the Island Country Inn were great about helping us re-reserve our room over labor day weekend. We walked from the ferry landing, probably a 25 minute walk, but it was all through a cute little neighborhood, and gave us a great feel... More

We found this place to be quite sufficient for our overnight needs. We were traveling with our teenage son and had a basic room with two queen beds. We also had our dog with us so this place is dog friendly. Lots of grass area behind the inn to walk the dog. Had good wi fi and nice sized flat... More

Stayed there two nights while touring Seattle. Hotel is clean, comfortable , excellent bar with more variety then most and in a great location for taking the ferry into Seattle. You can walk or drive to the ferry, it is about 1 mile away. The ferry ride is fun and you land right downtown. Bainbridge itself is a nice town to... More

We went to Seattle for a Seahawks game. Decided to stay over on Bainbridge so we could have the experience of riding the ferry! Arrived at our hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and homey. Our room had a fridge, microwave, coffee, and sink/food prep counter. We loved the little escape from the hustle of the City.... More
