They are remodelling which is good. The current rooms are a bit dated, but very clean. The breakfast was simple, but adequate. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A good value if you want to stay on Bainbridge Island.

Staff is rude, rooms are old and not clean. It is cheaper than the BW that is a block away, but not nearly as nice. The breakfast is basically cereal, where the BW has a hot breakfast that saves you the additional money you have to spend on breakfast if you stay at the Island Country Inn.

Great location and very nice staff. It is actually a motel, not an "inn" but it was comfortable. Pool is outdoor and not heated ;) Bainbridge has gotten a lot more developed since I first visited it in the 90s. The inn is right near lots of shops if that is what you are looking for. Enjoyed our time!

A good budget choice. Beds a little lumpy, but at these prices pleased with the cleanliness, professionalism, free wifi and coffee and breakfast. If you want something fancier, it's walking distance to whatever you need.

The maid stole items totaling a minimum of $150 from me so that really jacked up the price for a filthy room. At first the front desk person seemed very concerned but she (Shelly Kelly) was just waiting for me to leave. They did nothing about it. In fact, they seemed annoyed by my complaint. The tv did not work...

I've been all over the place staying in hotels and I'm always impressed yet again when I book with Island Country. Professional and courteous staff (I just booked this week with Monica) that answers your questions, keeps an up to date record of your details and gets you a room fast and efficiently. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything you'd...

We have stayed here before, just overnight, and did so again this week. The place needs a serious update - the walkways are cracked and dirty, the rooms have awful bedspreads and blankets that looked like the same ones from 3 years ago, however the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. That said, the staff is...

There are not a lot of options on the Island, and I had no advance notice of this trip. A couple summer weddings on Bainbridge and the rooms are very difficult to come by. Check in and out was smooth. But when I asked about a place to go for a run int he morning they had no knowledge of...

The most impressive part of this motel was the friendly staff person at the desk--so typical of the island people. It has a good location across from a small shopping center which included a pub/restaurant, drug store, Safeway Market, and a pizza place. Free wifi and a pool. No frig or microwave. The small breakfast area had a waffle maker...

The staff were very friendly at the Island Country Inn but our overall experience was so, so. We were initially put into a room that smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke and some kind of perfumed spray attempting to cover it up. The smell was overwhelming and caused my asthma to flare up. The smell permeated all of our clothing...
