My colleague convinced my to state here instead at one of the chain hotels. I was a little concerned as bed and breakfasts can be of spotty quality. I should not have been concerned the house and rooms are Fabulis and spotlessly clean. The owners are as friendly and nice as they get. The breakfast (eggs Benedict), pastries, coffee and... More

We recently stayed at the Trinkle Mansion and absolutely loved it. This is the most beautiful home, wonderfully restored and so spacious. As gorgeous as the home is, it is surpassed by the loveliest innkeepers you could ever meet. Patti and Bernie are the epitome of Southern hospitality. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable that you feel like... More

We stopped at this place on our road trip. I just looked up B&B on our way, and this one looked interesting. Am I glad i booked it. The property and surrounding lot feels like something from gone with the wind... Immaculately restored and up-kept. Clean, luxurious, with authentic rich feel. Owners are friendly but not to the level where... More

Well-situated on the main street in Wytheville, this mansion has been so beautifully restored by its current owners where no attention to detail has been overlooked. The accommodation is spotless throughout, with gleaming floors and quality furnishings - and guests are made very welcome, e.g. in the ladies and gentleman's parlours, the sunroom and various porch areas. A first floor... More

Oh my goodness, this is an amazing find, and you will not meet innkeepers that surpass Bernie and Patti, both delightfully gracious and kind. We had no idea of what to expect, the website is lovely but the impact of the scale of the inn, the attention to restoration and the southern hospitality make this a must. We slept in... More

From the reservation, arrival, stay and departure, dealing with the TMB&B was a pleasure. This couple are stupendous and share with us the story of the house, the work they did, etc. They provided information about places to visit close to the house, from restaurants, wineries, shopping, etc. The breakfasts were delicious! We enjoyed meeting new people every morning for... More

We cannot say enough great things about this Inn and the hosts. We were enroute to South Carolina, and decided to break up the trip with an overnight stay here. We chose the cottage, which was charming, spacious, and absolutely immaculate. No detail was overlooked, including a basket of snacks, water in the fridge, and beautiful toiletries and linens. Patti... More

From the moment Patti greets you and give you a tour full of history the visit will be a lasting memory. Awesome furnishings throughout the house. Every room was well decorated and spacious. The breakfast was soooo delicious. Bernie and Patti chatted and told us numerous stories about the Mansion and the City. I wanted to rate the Mansion, the... More

My husband and I spent our long weekend at Trinkle Mansion and had a wonderful time. This place is every bit as great as all the postive reviews you read on here. It was spotless, the rooms were well decorated to match the Mansion. The hosts were such nice people, made you feel very welcome. We left early two of... More

We traveled on our way from Pittsburgh to North Carolina and decided to stop at this gem. It was truly a beautiful experience; completely on our path and providing an unexpected luxurious treat! The owners have really put their hearts and soul into this beautiful home and have given it a "second chance to shine". They have taken painstaking care... More
