On a recent trip from Mississippi to the D.C. area, my wife and I needed a place to spend the night. After checking the Trip Advisor website and reading the outstanding reviews, we decided Trinkle Mansion would be a good choice. It was not only a good choice but the "best choice" we could possibly have made. We stayed in the Rosspoint Room which was absolutely beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Patti and Bernie are superlative hostesses! We requested an early breakfast and without hesitation they were happy to accommodate us. We have traveled a lot outside the U.S. and we agreed that Pattie's breakfast was by far the best we have ever experienced! We highly recommend Trinkle Mansion and believe you will not be disappointed.
We had an early December "sisters" trip to the Trinkle Mansion. The accommodations were great and the host was wonderful! We would definitely recommend this B & B and hope to return there in the future.
My husband and I went to Wytheville for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. Our goal was to visit some local wineries (not many in that area), and we wanted a central location in a nice B&B. We couldn't have picked better!! Our weekend in the Rosspoint room was an absolute delight. Patti is just an amazing hostess and has done an incredible job of restoring the house. We were impressed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Our breakfasts were delicious and Patti easily accommodated our vegetarian lifestyle. The location was really ideal - the little downtown area of Whytheville was so cute and we very much enjoyed walking around. I would highly recommend Trinkle Mansion. We've been staying in bed and breakfasts for over 20 years and this is at the absolute top of this list - an incredible value. Stay here - you won't be disappointed! It's been eight months since our visit (I started this review and then didn't finish), and we were still talking about our visit over Christmas with our family. Fantastic place!…
My Wife and I absolutely loved everything about our stay. Room was so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Patti was very helpful with anything we needed. There was plenty of things to do nearby
Lavishly restored mansion to a grandeur I am not sure it ever had. All to expect in a top notch B&B. The only thing I would say is the time on breakfast seems to be quite rigid; 8:30. So if someone is hoping for an early start or needs to be somewhere at 9:00 you will miss breakfast. Did not bother us as the other couples were quite congenial. That and the banister was decorated for Christmas in a way that made it almost unusable as an aid descending. Probably not an issue at other times of the year. Neither worth subtracting a star.
