We visited the Wytheville area for 5 days and we were lucky to be able to stay at the Trinkle Mansion for the whole stay. Breakfast was excellent every day and Patti and Bernie made us feel so welcome. If we ever are in the Wytheville area again there is no question as to where we will try to stay.

After a two week road trip, we thought we'd just wing it for our last night on the road. Well, the Trinkle Mansion was a lovely and comfortable end to our vacation. Patti and Bernie were extremely welcoming and hospitable, quickly putting everyone at ease. The three course breakfast was outstanding, and they accommodated my need to eat gluten free... More

What an experience! Patti and Bernie Pizinger are hosts extraordinaire. From their friendly greeting upon arrival to beautiful period furnishings and a gourmet breakfast, the stay was absolutely wonderful. Trinkle will definitely be our choice of accommodation on future trips to and from Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Everything you have read is true. Really the best of the best, without the pretention. We arrived from NJ after the funeral of a very dear friend. A fact that we shared with no one. A sweet little patio off the second floor gave us the seclusion we wanted, the perfect place to have our wine at night and early... More

I had the pleasure of staying here in the Monroe room. The furnishings, decor and fixtures all reflect a great attention to detail. The hosts were gratuitous and the food tasty creating an all around satisfying experience. A highly recommended stay, it is an excellent B and B choice compared with the best anywhere.

This historical mansion has been lovingly and beautifully restored with dramatic results. It has to be the most beautiful bed and breakfast that we have stayed in. The rooms and bathrooms were large, spotless and beautifully, historically appointed. The linens were wonderful as well. Our breakfast was also interesting and delicious. Snacks and drinks were available 24/7. A Keurig for... More

This is the kind of place where you are tempted to try and keep it as your personal secret. Of course that would be very unfair to others. A great place to staff, the rooms are special, and the breakfast is truly outstanding. The owner's are very hospitable and just wonderful people! If you are in the area, I highly... More

Totally amazing people, place and experience. Beautiful mansion and wonderful food. Stay here. You will love it. Will not disappoint. I love staying at B&Bs, especially when traveling alone. I feel safer. This night I was the only guest. I felt so at home in that gorgeous place. Loved it all. Wished I could've stayed longer.

We only stayed one night at the Trinkle Mansion, but it was enough to know that it is a lovely B&B with everything we could want. It is beautiful, historic, and charming. We stayed in the garden cottage, and it was lovely. Breakfast was perfect. Patti and Bernie are warm, friendly, and gracious. I can think of nothing that was... More

We spent the night in the guest cottage which is both fresh and cozy, with warm decor and a super comfortable bed.In the morning I opened the shutters to views of huge blooming rhododendrons, a neat front garden path and a pretty vegetable patch with fine rhubarb growing. Breakfast in the mansion was unusually delicious and served under sparkling chandeliers... More
