European elegance and spectacular views come together in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.The Fenton Inn is a complete village, with a town square, clock tower,draw bridge, bakery, theater, gym,spa, store and a handful of other buildings. It is surrounded by wineries, breweries, National Parks and just half a mile from Ski slopes of Wintergreen and Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Fenwick Inn is a beautiful and unique place to stay. The buildings and all the wood work carvings done by the owner. It is absolutely breathtaking and amazing! Clean, Quiet, Comfortable, Relaxing and secluded place to stay. We loved walking around the buildings only wish there were some trails to walk. Expensive stay but worth it for one time Adventure. Due to covid-19 we had to pre-order breakfast was it served in our room which was much better. Staying in the hummingbird room we had a private balcony outside with table with chairs and it was too beautiful to sit outside to eat. I believe this would be a wonderful addition to your bed and breakfast to offer breakfast in your room you'll know exactly what and how much per serving. I would also suggest putting some paper towels and a cleaner in the room to be able to wipe off the outside table and chairs as we had to use a washcloth. We did have a bit of an ant problem but we did let them know what's front desk so they could spray before the next guest, keep in mind you are out in the woods around nature. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity and I highly suggest others do too.

The Fenton Inn is an absolutely beautiful B & B near Wintergreen Va. We were so impressed with the decor (out of this world wood carvings on the doors and floors) created by the owner of the property, the cleanliness, and the uniqueness of the Inn. The setting is a European village and we felt like we were visiting Europe. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was brought to our room and was very tasty. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area!

We stayed in the Swallow's Nest this past weekend and it was PERFECT! The view from our room was incredible, even though it's winter and the trees are bare. Even though we were not the only people there, the place was quiet and felt very private. Our room (and the entire place) was the cleanest of any place we've ever stayed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. We met the owner during our breakfast and he told us stories of his background in woodworking and his time in Germany. So many cool doors and tables that were handmade by him. It has the feel of a tiny German village. Breakfast was complimentary and they had a great spread of breakfast items, including eggs, waffles, and yogurt. 100% recommended.

The room had floor to ceiling windows that afforded tree-top views of the mountains. The deck was sunny in the morning and cool and shady in the evening. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything worked as expected except the Dish TV system. Due to the remote location the screen kept "buffering" making it impossible to enjoy a movie. But only a minor issue since the main show was right outside the window!

An amazing and unique little inn nestled in the Blue Ridge area with quick access to the Appalachian trail and Nelson 151 brewery route. The inn has a wonderful man running it who built much of the interesting place himself including the wood carvings that adorn sections of it. Breakfast is eaten looking over the mountains. The rooms are well appointed (bring local wine), and there is a common room area to sit and also an entertainment den for movies and a small gym. The beds are incredibly comfortable.
Highly recommended, reasonably priced and an excellent option for staying in the area. About an hour from Charlottesville or Appomattox and three hours from DC, gives you quick access to do other activities.

Stayed at the Fenton Inn for a night while driving north on the Blue Ridge Parkway two years ago and loved it so much my wife and I had to return for another stay. Will and Lilia were outstanding hosts at the European style village they built by themselves. Picturesque view of the Blue Ridge mountains through floor to ceiling windows in our room. Incredible wood working throughout creates a story at each door. Very clean, all the amenities, great breakfast, and great conversation with such special innkeepers!! We highly recommend a stay here and will be back. Will and Lilia... thanks so much again for a fantastic stay at your beautiful inn.

If you are looking for a romantic get away or a beautiful place to spend time with family and friends, this Inn will exceed your expectations. We stayed in the Swallows Nest room that had a breathtaking view of the mountains, a lovely fireplace and beautiful decor. Loved the very large walk in shower with double shower heads.Breakfast was delicious and the owners Will and Lilia were so welcoming. The owners built the Inn three years ago and Will did the amazing wood carvings on the doors, built some of the furniture and inlaid wood designs in the floors-all from wood found on their property! Truly a labor of love! We plan to return as soon as we can!

This is a quaint place to stay with excellent service and hospitality. The breakfast was excellent and so were the accommodations. It is centrally located to many nearby restaurants, breweries, wineries, hiking trails and more. There was a lot of construction going on at the time of our visit, but everything was was great! The owners are super nice and were very helpful.

The service provided by the owners and assistants is excellent. The architecture and woodworking in the complex are unparalleled. The breakfasts have a large variety of great food. The rooms are beautiful, modern, clean, comfortable, and have wonderful views of the mountains. Among the amenities: hot tub, in-room fireplace, exercise room, large movie room, breakfast in your room, and now an elevator. So much for such a small but unique inn. We love this place and will come back every year.

From beginning to end, this was an extremely wonderful place to stay. Warm and inviting, the staff and atmosphere were top notch! Very clean rooms, and the details and architecture were truly amazing! Lilia and Will were excellent hosts and the breakfast was delicious! With my dietary restrictions, eating out can be a challenge, but Lilia and Will went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies. Can't wait for our next to the Fenton Inn!
