This place is crazy. They are rude, watch every move you make. This place makes you feel like you are in prison. The campsites are on top of each other. We did not want people to know we were out of town, we would take down the paper out of our window, and put it up when we parked to our... More

Stopped here for the night after driving 9 hours. Initial impression was ok. The women doing check ins were pleasant and they seem to have a pretty decent store. When we got to our sites it all went downhill. The road is so narrow that it made it almost impossible to back in a travel trailer without hitting your neighbors... More

Nice and well cared for campground even in Jan! Staff pleasant. Dog run area very clean which we greatly appreciated for our two Yorkies. Bathrooms and laundry areas very clean and cared for. Second stay there. WWill stay again. Would recommend for short term stays. Many wonderful areas to visit locally.

While in the process of moving from Va. to NC. I stayed in my 5th wheel at Candy Hill from July until October. I found the campground clean and had everything I needed for an extended stay. The staff was great and the security was excellent. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend. Bill Bowmaster

This RV Resort is along I-81 which is to close to highway.. You hear truck and train traffic all night! . I can't believe they charge $47 a night for this place. Last time I stay there! They give a Good Sam Discount but it is not worth it!

Our site was good, very quiet campground ok for a night or two. My mom and dad stayed also the site they were on was very tight and the sewer connection for the site beside them was right at their door.

We stop here often on our way to and from Florida. Staff is great & sites are really nice. We chose the luxury site this time with a grill, table & chairs, fire pit & concrete pad. Very nice...we have a tire problem & they recommended a tire repair place & we are heading there first thing in the morning.

We found ourselves travelling on the Labor Day week-end, and were having a terrible time getting a campground for an overnight stay.......most places wanted a two night minimum. After many disappointing calls, the person at Candy Hill had pity on us, and said "let me see what I can do". They gave us a spot for one night. It was... More

Campground sites are very small feel real sorry if you have a huge camper. Right on the major road, if you need just a quick overnight stay then I would recommend. Website states concrete slabs that is not true. Store is nice for souvenirs, needs more daily foods. Nice game room, bathroom very clean. Due to long term camping I... More

We stopped in with our class A with tow during Apple Fest (not why we were there). This meant that all of the pull through sites were taken. Thus we were forced to back into a very tight spot. Neighbors so close you couldn't have a fire. The wifi did not work for us either. However, we travel with dogs... More
