Stopped here for one night on way home from FL. Have stopped here before. Friendly staff. Owners live on property. Wonderful large fenced in dog park. Good level sites. Bathhouse is clean and convenient. Nice pool recently refurbished.

From the highway the campsite looked well spaced so decided to stop for the night. We joined a line of huge rigs waiting to register at the entrance. When it came to our turn I said to my husband I hoped we wouldn't be placed in the small pitch opposite the entry stop point because of the continuing line of...

We stopped by on our way south, just for a day with our three dogs. First if all, yes the pool was closed but it was also winter and 32 degrees out. Second security is important - I want to be safe too. The campground is beautiful and offers alot to do in season. There is a great dog park...

We thought this would be a nice campground.... boy we where so wrong. First you go through the getto to get to it then "hotel California" sets in.. Pool was under repair, the office has everyone and everything on camera in the office. If you are doing something they don't like you will be confronted by the golf car camping...

Last weekend we attended a campout with other members of our camping group. When we arrived on Thursday we went to the office to check in. I was told how much we still owed and a map and other items were given to us and I was told we would have a guide to our site. Since we tow a...

We travel with a golden retriever who needs room to run after being in the car for hours on end. Candy Hill has the nicest dog park we have ever seen at a campground. It is large, clean, great fencing, and has a bench to sit on. The rest of the grounds are quite attractive, grassy with many trees and...

Spent just one night here on our travels south. Very clean, friendly and accommodating staff. It was very quiet as we were off season and during the week but we prefer that so it suited us just fine. Candy Hill is pet friendly (we camp with a cat). They offer Good Sam and Military discounts.

The camp ground was very nice and maintained well. We were looking for a place to go on Labor Day weekend. Candy Hill won since no others were available. If you want to go and relax in a country atmosphere with the city right next door, this is the place. We thought all aspects of the stay was pleasant. The...

Site was okay for a private campground. However the hook ups were on the wrong side and I noticed that the two sites beside us had to share the water hook up. The women that worked in the store were friendly, but the men who worked outside were total jerks. Not friendly at all and I think a starving coyote...

We were traveling from TN to VA and were caught in traffic and construction work n the highway. We informed the staff several times and were very rude about the fact we were arriving so late. They did accommodate for our arrival but there was no need to chastise us. The place is big, clean, and close to many restaurants...
