We celebrated our anniversary there this past weekend and this cozy bed and breakfast exceeded all of our expectations. This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised. The Inn-keeper, Katie, was a delight and very accommodating to everything that we needed. I would recommend for anyone to stay there and I know... More

We chose this B&B for our small wedding. We had 11 guests and the venue was just perfect for something small. We chose to have the owner, Katie, be our photographer. She did an amazing job and was focused on capturing the day, without being overbearing, like most photographers. She has been doing this for years! Everything that came with... More

My three sisters and I meet up every year at a different location, and this year was Williamsburg. Staying at the Colonial Gardens B&B was the best decision we could have made!! Our hostess, Katie, could not have been nicer, and what a fabulous cook! I have never had more amazing breakfasts anywhere--pretty sure they are responsible for every pound... More

My fiancé and I stayed for two nights here and we were quite pleased with our stay. We have a fair amount of exp with such establishments on our vacations and I rate Colonial Gardens a solid 4 stars. Why not 5? Well, 5 stars would be a solid 100% and I still have to see a B&B that doesn't... More

My sisters and I stayed in the Azalea suite for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. The rooms were kept spotless, the beds were comfortable, and oh! Katie's breakfasts were out of this world. We had a very rainy morning one day and spent it in the cozy sunroom, reading and chatting and perfectly content. If you are looking for... More

Stayed for two nights on our trip north from Florida to Vermont to allow some time for golf and Williamsburg visits. Location is ideal. Karen is the owner/contact and Katie oversees the operation. Four rooms available with different price options, $150+. For $30 additional you can get a wonderful breakfast. Southern brick colonial, two story home formerly owned by the... More

We found this gem after much research and we were delighted we did. Nestled in a wooded area off the road to Jamestowne, this quaint B&B offered a relaxing stay. Katie, the House Manager and Karen the owner went out of their way to make us feel like one of the family. For eight wonderful days we enjoyed Katie's morning... More

We stayed here for my husbands bday and a quick get away. It was exactly what we needed. Katie is an amazing cook and wonderful hostess. I highly recommend checking out the wine vineyard and farmers market. Already planning the next visit.

Just returned home today, May 21, after a two-night stay at this charming quaint home. Katie is a wonderful host! Great cook, gentle soul, and sweet to talk with. My husband and I enjoyed the stay and getting to know the other guests. Superb recommendation on dinner at Second Street! Next time I might would choose one of the upstairs... More

Thank you so much for your kind review... We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and would stay again, when in Williamsburg. With a house this size and old it is always getting something lifted. We just finished with the siding and roof and now moving on to the windows!! We know they don't look there best but we... More

We had such a nice stay! Katie, our host, was just great! The grounds were very nice and the place itself very charming! There was a nice living room plus a sunroom with snacks and beverages to choose at our leisure. We choose the "Library" room, which is on the first floor for our quarters. The room was pleasing and... More

Thank you so much for your kind review! So glad Katie was accommodating and a great host. The Library is our smallest room and does face the road but luckily the house sits on over an acre and sits some 75 yards back from the road and behind a tree line so it is minimal, we are equally lucky that...
