This is a wonderful B&B in an excellent location in Williamsburg. It is across the street from College of William & Mary and a 5-minute walk to Colonial Williamsburg. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing. I can't wait to return.

First time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. We had exceptional service. The owners paid great attention to detail and made sure customer service always came first. Will be back again next year. Great location too! You can walk to Williamsburg and Jamestown was just a quick ride down the road.

Hey Kim, Thanks so much. I'm glad we could make your first B&B experience a pleasurable one. I know it rained a lot while you guys were in town but the sun DOES come out! We're happy you enjoyed the cottage experience and I know next time you'll love being in the main house (especially the Thomas Jefferson!). We'll see... More

We spent 2 nights at this lovely B&B as part of our 3 week trip from Washington DC to Savannah and without doubt this was one of the very best inns we stayed in. Alex is a great host with lots of advice on what to see and where to eat; our room was really beautiful and the breakfasts a... More

My girlfriend and I spent two nights at Cedars for her birthday weekend. This was our first time staying at Cedars. We stayed in the Patrick Henry room. The room is beautifully decorated, and very well maintained. Prior to our visit, I spoke with Alex and arranged some birthday champagne and flowers. Both were professionally arranged, and truly made the... More

Dear pegreddien, We're glad you enjoyed your time at our property and do apologize that you were uncomfortable during your stay. You're correct that our third floor rooms can be hot in the summer, but our A/C units are sufficient to beat the heat. We wish that we would have had the opportunity to help you adjust the temperature in... More

This was my first B&B experience which my daughter (17 yrs old) and myself came to stay at Cedars of Williamsburg Bed & Breakfast that was located across the street from William & Mary College. It was perfect for our college tour. We could leave our car in the parking behind the house and walk 5 to 10 minutes to... More

My son and I spent one night at Cedars while we toured the campus of William and Mary. We were upgraded to a larger room when we arrived which worked out well. The George Washingron Room is wonderful. Our breakfast was fantastic and Bob, the owner, was warm, friendly and funny. He celebrates birthdays at breakfast and since mine is... More

Stayed here one night during a week long trip to Virginia. This b&b is just across the street from William and Mary College so guess that explains the higher price than its counterpart somewhere else. The outside is pretty with flowers and that is why we stopped. (We were two friends just stopping and going wherever we wanted for a... More

Greetings Rivermom1, After reading your lengthy and detailed review, you obviously didn't enjoy what we have to offer. We are not for everyone but that is usually the exception. To clarifications; 1) You used part of a two room suite, the William & Mary Suite. We rent it as two room suite or as individual rooms. When we rent it... More

Thanks TNJames007, We sincerely appreciate the time spent on posting this review on our behalf. It is always fun hosting first-time B&Bers. They often have a good impression of the experience as you did. As you noted, we do have plenty of off-street parking but we do have several overflow options when needed...which is not very often.
