My girls ask me to come down here as much as possible, all the staff is wonderful, Sam at the bar, Jubabe at front desk, they always make us feel at home! The fish tacos are awesome and the pool is beautiful, their covid rules are excellent. We live it here.
The hotel is only 2 minutes from downtown by car - staff was fantastic! Welcoming, helpful and charming from the first minute and throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and wonderfully maintained. First rate stay!
The staff was wonderful throughout my four night stay.Stefan was helpful and so patient with the mess up with my hotels.com reservation and any extras I needed during the visit. I interacted with three additional front desk clerks and all were helpful with questions and so friendly. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The air and heat worked great, the rooms were clean. The location was close to the American Revolution Museum and Colonial Williamsburg (5 minutes away). Yorktown was about 30 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The hotel restaurant Bistro515 was amazing! The best food, presentation and staff I have ever interacted with. Check in and out was a breeze, free hotel parking on site and we got breakfast included with the stay. I was skeptical about eating at the hotel restaurant but it was amazing! Don't skip Bistro515 on site. Hotel was clean and I saw staff cleaning throughout the stay. There are signs for masks, plexiglass at the front desk and they are limiting people in the gym and pool areas. Great stay, we felt welcome.…
Contrary to what is shown on TripAdvisor, this hotel does not allow dogs. When searching for dog friendly hotels, this is one of the top results, and their alleged dog friendly hotels is consistent across multiple platforms. Very short staffed. Nobody was attending the front desk. Very slow check in process. Terrible experience, would not recommend.
We are on the way home from our recent stay and still can’t quit talking about the food. We were on vacation and found ourselves eating at the hotel for 3 out of 4 meals that would have normally been going out. Chef Randy served food that tasted better than most 5-star restaurants. Filet Oscar for dinner and Louisiana Skillet for Breakfast will not disappoint. To top it all off, we were 1-hour away from the hotel after checking out and my wife realized she left her Diamond Earrings in the room. We called the hotel and they were stored at the front desk when we returned! You don’t have that comfort at many places anymore. Highly recommend this hotel!
