This is a very nice hotel. The lobby is spacious and the employees are helpful. The entire hotel is clean and modern. There is no breakfast being served right now (because COVID), but the breakfast area is large with lots of seating and looks like it has plenty of space to accommodate a crowd. The rooms are large and have plenty of space for a family of 4. This hotel is a very short drive (3 or 4 minutes...maybe less) from Historic Williamsburg. The only complaint I would give - and its not a big deal, but when you run the hot water in the bathtub the pluming makes a loud banging/clanging sound. Overall I never heard a noise from the hallway or the rooms next door so the soundproofing is very good. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel's Favorite
As soon as we entered, you can see social distancing markers on the floor. shields over the check in desk and everything was very clean. The front desk was able to provide recommendations for late night delivery. The hotel itself is less than a 5 min drive to Colonial Williamsburg. Our room had a sanitized seal on the door. The room itself was very clean and we couldn't find any faults with it. The mini fridge and microwave was nice. There was a safe in the closet. The air conditioner worked well and the water pressure in the shower was very nice. A small annoyance that the tv reset to the same channel when you turn it off but it wasn't a big deal. The price was fantastic, though no breakfast currently being served due to covid. Overall it was a great experience.

The app encourages you to check in and proceed directly to the room, that would be great if the digital key worked. So we go to the front desk and get two keys, only one of which worked. The room was nice and spacious. My son was looking out the window at the squirrels playing in the side yard. He said the window was sticky, we initially could not figure out why, then we looked at the other window. The inside molding was removed and I guess the stickiness was the left over glue. A photo of the window with the molding and the one without are included in this review. The next morning we go to get breakfast. The app clearly indicated that hot breakfast would be served daily when we made the reservations, a screen shot of the wording is included. A sign was posted at the front desk that said there was no breakfast and that they had reduced the rates and that you should go to a local restaurant. A copy of the sign is included in the pictures. Also note that it has the name of the hotel on it, since every time someone leaves a poor review the GM says they must have the wrong hotel. It really sucks to not get what you pay for. They did give us a warm water, an apple, and a muffin. We asked if juices were available and they said they would sell us one for $3. Most concerning the maid did not wear a mask when they cleaned the rooms. One of the front desk staff also must have thought masks were worn on their chins. This is a poorly run hotel that is in disrepair. We will stay elsewhere in the future.

Hello, Thank you for staying with us. I see you stayed in a two queen suite for 70 some dollars Saturday night. The hotel was just fully renovated and yes, unfortunately some guests have removed the window trim and we are working to find replacements. I checked myself into your room and the digital key worked just fine on my android. We do not deny poor reviews but we will dispute if it is not our property good and bad, there are 3 within a two mile radius. All staff here are required to wear masks except for the few with health conditions that prevent them from wearing. But we have exceeded the requirements and have built a top to bottom shield wall to protect the front desk staff from people traveling who may bring in germs. We have all NEW carpet, beds, sofas, chairs & ottomans, new window treatments and new pool furniture that was completed this spring of 2020. So to claim the hotel is in disrepair or we deny bad reviews or we don't wear masks is just fake news. We reduced rates drastically due to covid-19 causing limited services which is far more value than a full breakfast. We do however offer the bagged breakfast. Thanks, safe travels.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights using a hotel reservation. The friendly masked receptionist checked my identity and payment before issuing our key cards. We took one of their 2 elevators to the 4th floor and breaking the Covid cleaning seal to our room. #442 opened to small kitchen with refer/micro/coffee station and sink, then living room with couch, desk and dresser with normal sized 70 channel TV and comfortable king, then closet and wash area next to a fully outfitted bathroom with passive exhaust and tub shower. Covid signs were posted with staff and clients complaint. The lobby breakfast was reduced to a 6 AM coffee station due to Covid. We had good secure WiFi, quiet window heat/AC, small gym and nice indoor pool, both of which I used. We had a perfect stay at this quiet clean 109 room hotel paying (reduced due to no breakfast) $78 per night.

First time to Williamsburg and we stayed at the Hampton Inn Historic District. The hotel was very clean and each room sealed to show that it was cleaned and sanitized. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to guests. No breakfast only breakfast bags but coffee available. Rooms could use updating. Overall stay was very comfortable.
