Everything about this campground is awesome. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Easy drive to Busch Gardens. Well maintained in a pretty setting. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I have stayed here before, and it is not a bad place to stay. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and attentive. I stayed in a classic cabin. (Just a bed and a tv) It was clean and nice to stay in. It had AC, which I thoroughly appreciated, given how hot it was the week that I was there. The bathrooms were always clean and nice to use. They have a heated pool and also a splash area. I did not use the pool while I was there. There are other amenities/ activities available, but I did not use or do them as I was in the area strictly to visit the area attractions and sight see; not spend time at the campground. My only complaint would be that people were using the 15 min. parking spaces by the bathrooms to park their cars all day long and all night long for the length of their stay. My cabin was a bit of a walk to get to the bathroom facility and due to mobility issues, it was easier to drive my vehicle over to use the bathroom/shower and I was not happy that I had no place to park because of people using those 15 min. parking spaces to park for the length of their stay leaving me no choice but to block them in as it was frustrating with no where to park to use the bathroom. This should be addressed and people need to read and heed the posted signs and be considerate and not selfish. I also would have preferred to stay on the quiet side campground as I have stayed on that side on previous trips. I am an introverted solo traveler and do not care to have crowds of people around me. The quiet side suited me much better.

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. We stayed in a 2-room cabin and were happy with site, TV and mini-fridge. The AC worked great even on a very hot day with temperatures over 90 degrees. The campground was well laid out, very clean, and packed with amenities. You can instantly tell the owners take pride in their campground. My kids really enjoyed all the available activities and declared this to be one of the BEST Koa's we have ever stayed at. My sons favorite was the geocatching - what a super cute easy fun activity. I appreciated the daily text messages to communicate activities in the campground. Would definitely recommend this KOA and stay again if in the area.

Clean, Quiet, and great amenities. Check in was so easy for a Friday evening with staff right out front in the check in lanes who could do it all including hook us up with firewood and ice. Loved that it had secured gates. Tons of stuff for kids and us big kids to do. Bathhouse was excellent and kept very clean. Was close to everywhere we wanted to be and very easy to get around the area from the campground location. We will be back!

We stayed at this campground the week of Memorial Day into June. This family owned KOA franchise is perfection down to every detail. The entire campground in immaculate! Very clean and tidy. Wonderful amenities…my daughter especially loved the spacious pool and splash pad! This KOA had amazing family themed activities… such attention to detail! My daughter loved the petting zoo one night with horses and llamas and donkeys! The location to all the historic sites is perfect! Such a short drive and only about an hour to Virginia Beach! The staff at the store ( special thanks to Diane and Rob) for giving us such a detailed explanation of history of the areas, unique sites, and a great deal on tickets for all 5 historic sites we wanted to see! Thank you Williamsburg KOA for providing a wonderful family vacation!

We stayed at the Williamsburg KOA over a long weekend in May. What an experience! Front office staff very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. They even had a doggie area at the bathhouse for giving your BFF a bath. The pool was clean and well maintained. The sites have a picnic table and fire ring and are clean and well maintained. The campground has lots of activities for the kids and is well situated if you plan to visit Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. In fact, the ride to Busch Gardens is about 15 minutes - we came home in the middle of the day to rest and returned later. This is the place to stay! We plan to return this fall!

This is the place to stay. Every employee enthusiastically helped us. Campsites are large, with top quality composite furniture, stamped concrete patio, grill and fire ring. Modern playground includes a gravity rail, and jumping pillow areas segregated by age. Creative activities throughout the day will keep teens happy. Pool area with splash pad, kiddie pool and a large pool with very nice furniture made it easy to relax. The list goes on. I’m always pleased with KOA campgrounds, but this is a next level experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Williamsburg/Busch Gardens, KOA. The campground was well cared for. The bathrooms were immaculate. The staff were the friendliest and most attentive we have experienced. We received text messages reminding us of upcoming activities. They had several sites available and spaced RV’s out so no one was crowded. Just a very pleasant stay!!

My husband, daughter, dog and I had our first RV experience at this KOA. I was mind blown at the amenities - the on-site store had everything you forgot, our pupper made new friends at the on-site dog park, and the bathrooms were super clean. The staff was very friendly, and the property felt very safe. I would definitely stay there again.
