This was the second time my wife Beth & I stayed at A Williamsburg White House and it was marvelous!!!!! Debbie & John think of everything and overlook nothing!!! When you stay there, they make you feel like you are at home. The breakfasts are first rate. I (Scott) must confess that I normally do not eat French Toast, but the blueberry stuffed French Toast we had was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!! Beth & I had the Champagne Breakfast one of the days that we were there, but neither of us are drinkers, so Debbie & John switched it to sparkling cider. Also, Debbie arranged for Beth & I to have champagne flutes with our names on it, When Beth and I arrived in out room, there were a dozen red roses waiting for her that I purchased with our package. We were originally supposed to stay 3 nights, but we changed it to 4 nights about a month ago, and Debbie and John changed it and we were still able to keep the same room. If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay in Colonial Williamsburg, stay at A Williamsburg White House!!!!!

Our stay at the White House was exceptional in every way – from the elegant décor of the Adams Suite to the breakfasts that were delicious and beautifully presented. John and Debby welcomed us to their historic home with genuine warmth and hospitality while observing the precautions necessary to keep guests safe during the COVID era. Being close enough to walk into the Historic Area made it easy to take advantage of daytime and evening programming at Colonial Williamsburg. This has definitely become our Williamsburg home away from home.

In our opinion, this Bed and Breakfast is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Our favorite room is the Lincoln bedroom, but each one of their rooms are beautiful and always extremely clean and well kept. Every breakfast is incredibly well presented by the host and hostess with a friendly and gracious bit of discussion about what you have planned for the day. The food is absolutely delicious! This beautiful home is within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. Don’t miss this wonderful experience, because you will meet great people and want to return often. We go every chance we get, and each experience is better than the last. My husband and I have come to consider John and Debbie good friends.

We recently stayed for three days, celebrating my wife's birthday while exploring the area. The inn was very convenient for Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown, and provided lovely amenities. We stayed in the Lincoln Room, which has his & hers bathrooms; what a nice touch. The available birthday package included wine, flowers, a beautiful cake in the room, and a dinner gift certificate; all well done. The excellent hot breakfast rotated daily and was enjoyed each day. There is also a nice wine and snack available each afternoon. The hosts are amenable and know the are well. A great time!

From the moment we were warmly welcomed at the front door until we reluctantly departed at the end of the week, we felt like we were staying with old friends! Debbie and John are warm, gracious hosts. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was spotless, beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable! We will definitely make reservations to stay with them again!
